(Cartwright) vs Nuke Fusion

[Cartwright]

Cartwright is so focused on his own pain, he briefly forgets where his opponent and he he pays for it as Nuke crashes on top of him with an impressive Lionsault landing across his chest!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke shouts at the ref as he immediately hooks Cartwright's leg for a pinfall!

"Count the damn three count!"

 

[Cartwright]

Nuke confidently tells the referee to do his job, which we're sure he was about to do as he drops down to look at Cartwright's shoulders.

ONE...

T...

Cartwright forcefully kicks-out with his legs to show Nuke it isn't going to be that easy.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke grunted and almost screamed at Cartwright, enough so that it was audible around the arena.

"Learn when to stay down, Cart! You will .. learn!"

And with that final word, Nuke tried to press his hands into the side of Cartwright's face, and press down with all of his weight!

 

[Cartwright]

It's a simple but effective idea, as Nuke squeezes on Cartwright's face as much as he can!

Cartwright yells for a moment as he feels the pain, but then tries to fight Nuke off with some right's to the face!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke had thought he was going to keep Cartwright pinned to the mat, but then found himself at the receiving end of a series of hard right strikes to the head. He took one, two.. three.. and then started to cover up, moving himself away from his opponent.

The crowd gave off a loud pop for Cart, wanting to see their fan favourite take the initiative and take control of this bout.

 

[Cartwright]

Cartwright manages to fight Nuke off of him, watching him cover and back away, giving him an opening.

The Lad gets to his feet and looks to keep the strikes coming with some swift kicks to the chest as he covers his face!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The kicks rained in and Nuke did his best to cover up, but took many across his torso and midsection.

It seemed like the pendulum was swinging again!

 

[Cartwright]

Cartwright could feel the momentum going his way as he backs Nuke towards a turnbuckle, where he would look to climb it to the second rope and rain down more punishment with a classic ten punch salute to the head!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke did his best to cover up, but those strikes came raining down.. the crowd were counting along and loving this!

One!

Two!

Three!

Four!

Five!  

[Cartwright]

Six!

Seven!

Eight!

Nine!

Ten!

Cartwright has the people in the palm of his hands as he completes the combo and steps down on to the mat, leaving Nuke trapped in the corner as he prepares to chop his chest!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke was trying to catch his senses, right as he felt a hard and stinging chop across the chest.

The crowd let out an audible "Ooooh!" as the heel gripped his chest and clenched his teeth!  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright must be feeling confident as he hears the chop echo around the arena, because he prepares to hoist Nuke on to the turnbuckle itself, looking to join him up there for a devastating superplex attempt!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke was too busy holding his chest to notice The Lad coming in close, and soon was hoisted up high on to the top of the turnbuckle!

The crowd roared as it looks like Nuke is going to get what he deserves for his trash talk earlier in the show, as Cartwright hooks the leg for a pin!
