Ok. . . I know that I've been in RP campaigns and monty-haul campaigns along with those pretty much intent on bloodshed. Just how much effort are you willing to put into your world, or are you good at on-the-go development?

MrJimmy Thanks for the offer, but I thinkI would rather try my hand at a small game on here before I commit to anything like that. This will be my first time DMing online and I just want to keep it simple, and all in one thread. Alright. I had eventually planned on making that section anyway and offered because you can't subscribe to a thread on a guild. But if you're just wanting to do it here then that's cool. wink I just thought it would be nice to have a few threads for different things like characters, reference materials, discussions, Q&A, etc.

I usually put enough effort to know where the players are going, but when they get there I leave it to chance, quests are somthing I do before hand. For this camp I have somthing planned out. It's a camp I wrote about a month ago for a regular RP in Barton Town and I never posted it up, it's a great story though. Does anyone have any problem with a war setting?

Awww, well if you change you'remind you know where we are! Well, I think it would screw with a campaign a bit if one person could only play once a week on average... *sigh* I guess I'll just have to stick with the dungeon here which happens whenever everyone feels like it... 18th level and I still can't run my cleric worth a heck! (well, started around 10-12th... but I'm bad at clerics!)

I was actually re-writing my war campaign for use in NWN before my home PC died last fall. I have no issue with war campaigns. I'll see how many people you get before I start character development. http://d20forge.com/contribution/display.html?id=1668 Cisterath Kelteel is an example of my character development skills. I prefer not to get too indepth only to find our party is somewhat lacking a. . . crucial. . . character. sweatdrop (like a healer) {Edit:} I renamed the advice section of the guild as I'm really not well equipped to offer advice and thus not good at arranging it. I'll turn that section into a D&D area which is something I know pretty durn well in comparison. wink I also recruited another player for you. If you're dead-set on starting it here I'll invite him here but if you want to check out the guild's setup (and make recommendations/additions) feel free. I have to get to work though so I'm out for the night.

Sure count me in, only prob. is next week I'm not going to be here for a while, going to be in Atlanta on a trip... Anyways I have some 3.5 books, Mob man. and Players handbook. I have Mob Man I & II, DM guide, and Players handbook in 3.0 though. Normally I DM, but I can be a player, allowing me to have an opprotunity to play for once. mrgreen
Sorrys, normally I don't appreviate like this, but I'm in a rush.

If your still needing people and you don't mind a guy who's newish, I'v played DnD quite abit, I've just forgotten some of the rules and no longer have access to the books, I can get them if I need to though.
Not sure how well I would manage online, although it would be easier for me to stay in character and remind myself of what had happened.

Okay, to work. Shadow-Savant I was actually re-writing my war campaign for use in NWN before my home PC died last fall. I have no issue with war campaigns. I have to get to work though so I'm out for the night. Thanks again for the offer, if this goes at all well I will make sure to start a game in you're sub-forum shadow. For now I'm gonna stick it out here. And tell your friend to post before the slots fill up! LadiSilverfox I have only played games that were home made, so I don't know all the ins and outs of actually D&D...but if you get desperate for players let me know. sweatdrop Sweet, I'll make sure to contact you if there are open slots. Silver song Sure count me in, only prob. is next week I'm not going to be here for a while, going to be in Atlanta on a trip... Anyways I have some 3.5 books, Mob man. and Players handbook. I have Mob Man I & II, DM guide, and Players handbook in 3.0 though. Normally I DM, but I can be a player, allowing me to have an opprotunity to play for once. mrgreen Sorrys, normally I don't appreviate like this, but I'm in a rush. Okay, thanks for the forewarning. In that case I'll probably use that week to help people get thier charactors inline and introduce the setting of the camp, so play won't begin until you can join us. And I'll add you. Dantereck If your still needing people and you don't mind a guy who's newish, I'v played DnD quite abit, I've just forgotten some of the rules and no longer have access to the books, I can get them if I need to though. Not sure how well I would manage online, although it would be easier for me to stay in character and remind myself of what had happened. I welcome you, but if you're tentative on wanting to play you better lock you're self in fast, it seems that slots are disapering faster then I thought. Prince Lestat eek OOOH I WANNA PLAY!!!!!!!! 3nodding Though two questions: 1) is there a restriction on race? aka can we be monster races? 2) and is there a restriction on class? But either way you can count me in if theres still room. razz 3nodding There will be no restriction on race, but there might be one on class. With my war setting it woud be hard to work in a Palidon or a Druid, since I want everyone in the camp to be some sort of battlefield goer. Is there a particular monster race you want to be? I have the camp set up so that monsterous races can be worked into it. And I'll add you post haste.

Just throw me in the same camp as LadiSilverfox, with the lady of course getting priority in the case of empty slots.
