The amount of immigrants coming in the country, while definitely a part, is in no way the cause or even a major reason in the loss of habitat and wildlife preserves in the country. We have land developers and business tycoons to thank for that.
Essentially, most of our economic infrastructure is reliant upon the labor of illegal immigrants, mostly because actual citizens of the the country, no matter what their socioeconomic status, are generally unwilling to wash dishes, pick strawberries, and other such tasks. It's a sad truth, but a truth nonetheless.
Thank you biggrin .........................finally some one is making a little sense

Well, politics just work when you do something. Nobody should complain about a politic theme, if they keep inactive! I don't know if you have the age for voting in your country, but when you have that right, use it! "Liberty wears down only when not used" blaugh
If you're on this thread, I think it's cause you want to be involved in. Good, my young apprentices! 3nodding And don't forget : always respect the "adversary", cause he's a citizen too...

i believe in nonviolence and nonresistance; this has never been given a serious chance by any nation.
why not spend your military budget on peacemaking, and on training all citizens in guerilla commando tactics so that if we were invaded we could defend, and keep an air defense against missiles and jets.
you'd save a lot of money and who know? it just might work.
everybody scoffs at the idea, but i see no historical evidence that this approach has actually ever failed; it's just never been attempted.

On the contrary, many countries institute a mandatory military service, and Switzerland's entire population makes up its current military. However, guerrilla tactics do nothing to prevent terrorist attacks, only against actual invasions from other military forces, which doesn't seem likely to happen against the United States.

I present to you some random facts about contries that make absolutly no sense in my opinion.
Russia and America have been fighting eachother through other countries for years and refuse to fight eachother due to the fact that they both have nucs. Cold War.....
America continues to snub Canada through public speeches.
More people die in America every day than the 9/11 accident but people care about that more merely becaquses of the fashiopn in which it was donr. Apparently people there have to die in a wy that also threatens the countries pride and gouvernement directly for it to matter.
A dictatorship is very easy to aquire, despite what people think.
The WMA was justified against the FLQ's and Quebec is still angry about it and therefore have refused to sign the Canadian charter of rights.
There is a genocide hapeening in Darfur and the casualties are said to be in the thousands yet poele still refuse to act because it is not technically a war in the U.n.'s dictionary so no soldiers can be permitted to be sent in under the orders of it.<--Complete idiocy there.
In California, the price for the death penatly is in the millions and it would cost 1/4 of that to keep them in jail>.>
In conclusion I would just like to mention that Politics is the one area where the less experience you have, the better you are.

~B~Discrete~ In conclusion I would just like to mention that Politics is the one area where the less experience you have, the better you are.
Do you really think so? Wouldn't having less experience make you MORE vulnerable to being taken advantage of, examples of which are listed in your post? Wouldn't you agree that it would be better to be more familiar with the system to properly criticize those in power who make poor decisions, and be able to articulate why they are bad decisions?
