I hear it spoken from time to time in Utah (united states) it bugs me and I don't really know much spanish (i'm learning spanish so I can communicate with my boyfriends family (who are from Chile)). I prefer people to speak in one language or another, but not two at once.

It's not a real language, true. But I'm learning Spanish and sometimes I get myself buried in Spanish mode and it takes a lot of effort to speak straight English. I usually end up reverting to Spanish. Siempre cuando yo regreso a mi casa, estoy en la moda de español. See what I mean?

i think spanglish is ok for people who are just learning the language but when you know both very well. you shouldn't be speaking spanglish, its just annoying. its like speak one or the other.

I'm 100% Puertorican and I don't mind Spanglish... because the words I forget in a language I, probably remember in the other... not only that but all my friends speak spanglish... at all times even though they are also Puertorican. As long as we can understand each other then I don't care
