Did the download not complete?

The regular download completed, but it just wouldn't do anything, then I tried the alternate version and for that the download didn't complete.

Because no one ever uses it. And if you switch to it, it's takes forever to learn it. It flat out SUCKS. And even if I wanted to switch, I can't find the program anywhere.

I could try downloading it to a different computer, then burn it to a disk and run it. Do you think that would work?

Dustpanman I could try downloading it to a different computer, then burn it to a disk and run it. Do you think that would work? Well, it should, since that's how you're supposed to do it. Go ahead and burn it to the disk, and then boot your computer from the disk. That should do it for you. @Naomi: Lots of people use Linux... hell, now Dell is selling computers with Ubuntu Linux installed as the operating system. As for taking forever to learn, you may be right, but that only applies to advanced situations. If you're just looking to do basic stuff, it's actually quite simple, and runs a lot like Windows.

My grandma is actually pretty good with the computer. She knows about e-mails more than any other elder I've met. :3 She plays games on there too, I think. @A@ And she checks the news, etc...
I'm not really sure what else she does. ^-^; I haven't really bothered asking..
