There was no way the bug would survive; it would die immediately. He only was unphased due to his immunity to his own fire abilities. He then purposely fell, and dropped into the ground, using earth military movement, before jumping outwards, far out of the battlefield. He quickly threw a dozen kunai at the clone, and the wall, one of them being explosive. He could tell it wasn't the real one; but he still wanted to kill it, to prevent some form of trickery. [23/40]
[I didn't really get your post.... are they already devouring his chakra?]

The clone dispersed the Bug Dome as he saw Shane trying to counteract his technique. The clone watched as the kunai flew towards him. He spotted the one kunai which had a tag upon it as the twelve kunai flew at him. He simply strafed to the left and reached outwards, plucking the explosive kunai from its path. He threw it at the spot which he estimated Shane was to land to prevent him from reaching his wanted destination. As this occured Kamizuki arose from the earth and leapt up onto the wall which he created. He drew his sword. He figured if he was able to cut Shane once Shane would realize he was in danger and have to submit for medical attention.

[lol, decided to stay until I post Nasca's bloodline requests and stuff.
But uh, no, look at it this way.
I basically pancaked my face into the dirt, and sunk in. And then I swam out, jumping far away from the battlefield. THEN, I threw the Kunai. So I had no destination. I wasn't even moving.]

Kamizuki smiled at Shane. "Thank you, Brother," he said in a low voice as Shane made his way into the earth. Kamizuki made a string of handseals and placed his hand upon the ground. Chakra sprouted from his fingertips in a web-like formation. Bugs began to make their way to him and into him. Once he had fully replenished his bug supply Kami created a bug cloud and hopped upon it. The swarm brought him high into the air and took him back to the village. "...
