80's pop,classic rock,techno,dance,jpop,kpop,cpop,classical techno instrumental music, movie soundtrack, game bg music.
Almost everything but rap. It has to have a really good beat and good lyrics minus the cursing for me to like it.

Last time it's mostly classical.
But after all, I listen to many genres. Almost everything except techno, rap and such. I'm very into rock and industrial. o:

I guess my big three, at least at the moment, would be these:
Alternative/Rock (Radiohead, Muse, A Perfect Circle, etc.)
Prog Rock (Pink Floyd, Genesis, The Mars Volta, Tool)
Romantic-Era (Tschaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Debussy, Satie… slipping a little bit into contemporary there, but retaining the melodic qualities of romantic music)
I also enjoy British folk rock. By which I mean primarily Steeleye Span.
Other little delights I take are in well-done trance and techno. Ever heard of DJ Sharpnel? Japanese techno duo. Pretty great.
