Neat considering the male counterpart isn't doing so well.
Much amusement that the Trainer and Assistant trainer to the US womans Football team is Swedish and Norwegian.

The American men are good too! They just are not the best in the world.
The American Women are gonna win it all. ******** Japan/Sweden!

Honestly, I prefer playing to watching, so I don't follow these things too well. Anyone interested in informing me the basics of what's going on?

biggrin
Doing well so far.
The only thing I hate about professional sports is how running the clock is a strategy.
sad
I don't even do that in my video games. I go for the goal.

Running the clock is a strategy even in non-professional sports.

Running the clock is how any team with a lead should play in a tournament. You have to save energy and not risk injury. Some sports like Basketball and Football (American) make it look cooler.

I'd watch more professional sports if they were battles to the death. You all know that would be cool. Finally make pro athletes earns those ridiculously high salaries they get.

I'm with you on that, Thaliat. Perhaps we ought to bring the Coliseum back.

I'd pay good money to see an entire NHL team take on, say, Justin Bieber in a fight to the death.

Taeryyn I'd pay good money to see an entire NHL team take on, say, Justin Bieber in a fight to the death. As entertaining as that would be, I think Justin Bieber would need some help, otherwise it would be a very short fight.

Hockey doesn't prepare you for eye-gouging, scratching, and hair-pulling.

I would pay good money to see just about anyone in a fight to the death with Justin Bieber. My mother's friend was his limo driver while he was in town once...apparently he is actually a complete and utter a**.

Hmm. Stephen Harper VS Justin Bieber sounds good to me. Either way, my country is better off.
