It just took me, like I literally am just now finishing... roughly four and a half hours total to handsew a stripe up the inside of a pants leg. I hate hand sewing. I have another one to do, plus both sleeves...as well as the smaller decorative stripes above those. Hopefully once I'm running on actual sleep and not a nap and some instant coffee I'll be able to speed this process up.

My favourite brand of dye is hair-healthy (and the dye smells delicious, oddly enough), but my natural hair colour is medium brown. So I had to bleach it very blonde in order for the dye to show up, meaning that my hair is a little fried. sweatdrop
I'm happy with the end result, though. biggrin I have the same colour hair as my avatar, actually.

oh, nice. What dye brand is it?
My hair is a decently dark brown, so I needed to use some blonde dye on it and I did so a good few years in a row to keep it light enough that the dye would work. I think I'll dye it sometime soon, but I'll have to deal with it being a darker shade than usual. MY hair has had enough abuse for a while.

Picpicpic Pixie!
My hair...is very dark brown. Like almost black. So actually dying my hair might prove troublesome.
Also, delicious-smelling hair stuffs is always fantastic. I love using my brother's kiddie shampoo while I'm home cuz it smells like coconut~
My last attempt at sewing was trying to fix up a small hole in a plush turtle I had bought for my brother. It didn't last long. My mom had to sew it up again after I had mailed it ^^; I dunno. Baby steps.

The brand is Punky Colour. I've used their pink (dark tulip) before, and liked it, so I decided to try their atlantic blue. I also have a jar of alpine green.
In the past, I have tried Manic Panic and Special Effects, too, but I'm not really a huge fan of either of them.
I am a terrible seamstress. I sewed a few things in high school, that were part of required projects, but other than that, I can barely do more than mend rips and tears. sweatdrop

My best sewing work was the Chocobo costume I made for Anime Boston one year. It was no masterpiece or anything, but it had the right shape, and I got positive reactions from fellow con-goers.
I also made a Luma plushie for my boyfriend for Christmas last year. whee He wanted a blue one, so I made one.

4laugh Now that I have a proper mouse, Kyla has discovered the wonderful bliss that is Team Fortress 2. heart heart heart So much fun. Though at the moment I refuse to be anything other than a medic mrgreen I actually do a pretty good job, despite dying a hell of a lot. I know I should try a couple other classes for when I get stuck on a team of like 10 medics but...but...I fricken love medic! Bonesawing a sniper in the face, then chasing another sniper down a hallway and bonesawing him in the face...so satisfying.

My brother's partial to being a Spy in TF2. I've personally never played cuz I just plain suck at first-person anything ^^;
Also, aaaaaaaaaah >.< So I've been sifting through a massive Comic Con cosplay gallery on and off today and it's making me reeeeeeally want to actually start cosplaying.

TF2 is fun, but it doesn't do it for me. The classes flirt just outside of my playstyles so I always feel like I'm almost able to do what I want.

Weirdo, you should try console shooters then. They tend to have some sort of aim assist.
And woah. Played so much League of Legends. @.@
Meaning you can't control them as well as you want to, Sav?
I hope Darksiders has an awesome sequel. I found the story interesting. Especially when I noticed War is Illidan Stormrage.
As for mice, I use a logitech MX518.
cool

It's okay, Invis. I'm awful at first person games too.
So far as cosplaying goes....I am so screwed. Otakon is less then 24 hours away...and I'm still sewing. I was hoping to be done in time for badge pickup in about two hours or so, but it doenst look like I'll make it
