My college screwed up a bunch of my stuff so I can't go to college until spring. Therefore, my spanish is.... a bit out of practice, I'm afraid. But I've been trying hard, so hopefully I won't lose too much of it. mrgreen According to some people, my spanish accent is better than most people's. I actually had one of my teachers ask if I had someone spanish in my family, because (and when he said this, I disagreed. I still disagree, but....) my accent was almost as good as his. People in my family tend to be really good with languages....

Taeryyn Okay, so, just correcting it does no good if you're not sure why it's wrong, so a few things. "Juste" in French does not mean "only" or "barely" like it can in English. We would say seulement or uniquement. We would say "elle me corrige" not "elle corrige moi". Unlike in English, the subject quite often goes before the verb. So: Je l'ai fait and not "j'ai fait cela" Je lui ai parlé and not j'ai parlé à lui. Elle me la donné and not elle a donné cela à moi. Also, you are a girl. You are chanceuse, belle, et intelligente. ; ) If you were a guy, you would be chanceux, beau, et intelligent. Similarly, unless you are addressing a group entirely comprised of women, you wouldn't say amies. Or elles. French is lovely and misogynistic and if there is a group of a 1000 women, with one guy, they are referred to by ils, not elles. On dirait jamais ``plus bon``, that`s the same as saying gooder. Je pense que c'est une bonne idée, if it's not too inconvenient. Si tu m'aides avec le francais... uh, I can't figure out how to say it. I would prefer that your life take priority. Aussi, so much Spanish. D: I don't know Spanish at all, practically. The only times I can identify Spanish is because it's similar to French.

BluCatnip Aussi? Is that like the Aussie version of Aussie? If not then that's one of the few words I don't know.... Bearing in mind my French is a bit rusty, as I recall, it means "also"

Okay. In Spanish it's said Tambien, that's why I didn't suspect, I suppose.

Parler = to speak Dire = to say. Hopefully that's not too much. It's mostly just past tense.

Okay, so not only did I just waste an entire 8 hours dowloading something, but I am now completely bummed out. Why? Not that many would ask. I, as well as my mother, really wanted to play the game Mabinogi. I spent all day downloading it, which took about 4 hours longer than it kept saying it would on the download thingy, when I could have spent the day over the internet with my best friend, only to find out that the game doesn't work with windows 7 and/or the pentium I have on my Toshiba Satellite. SUCH. A. BUMMER. So now I'm thinking of playing Prefect World, mostly because I've been searching for a game with a beastman race, so I can play it when my Rappelz partner is offline.... gonk I am so depressed now!

Sorry, Tae, been busy with studying and school and such. I'm in class right now, in fact, because this is the first time I've had internet access when I haven't been super super busy. We're just doing a class discussion, but I should probably get back to paying attention.
But, this evening I'm good. I will do this exercise tonight after doing a driving lesson with my mom. I glanced at it and it looks like I could do it. smile I should review my past tense, though...
Anyways, going back to lecture now. *fades into the background* ninja
