It's definitely the hot topic at work. Although it's not technically a Canadian issue, I plan on contacting my MP to let them know what I think. God knows that if this passes in the US, not only will it immediately affect Canadians, too, but our government will be sure to follow suit with something similar.

My friends and people in the dorm are talking about it a lot too, whether to just complain about the websites that are blacked out for the day or to say "Goddamnit, America!"
We discussed the Occupy movement in one of my classes the other day, but I'm a pessimist about that. SOPA and PIPA on the other hand...
Well, I need to get back to my papers that are due tomorrow. Stupid papers.

I brought up SOPA in my american government class last semester, and the like...ten other people in that class seemed not to know anything about it, so I'm glad I got my professor to spend a whole class talking about it.
Currently, my facebook is almost nothing but, "Stop SOPA, contact Congress". So I guess that's a good sign.

Since SOPA and PIPA have been tabled, I'm now looking at this ACTA thing... which may or may not be the exact same thing with a different name.

ACTA is a bit more worrisome, because know nearly nothing about its contents, and it's an international effort.

I've been pretty busy with school and the PokeMon roleplay I'm in. I'm going to be making a third character because I convinced two of my friends to join even though they barely know anything about PokeMon xp
....Our team is going to be so gay. So incredibly, flamboyantly gay.
Oh, I read a story in Japanese literature about a guy staring at schoolgirls on the train! biggrin

I finally cracked and ordered a Kingdom Death mini. biggrin It's gonna be so fun to paint! biggrin
Also, don't google Kingdom Death if you are of sensitive constitution or in a workplace environment. Some of the minis are NSFW. VERY NSFW.

Oh gosh, I love my friends. I should really study for my Japanese speaking test tomorrow and my Spanish exam, but... ¡No quiero estudiar español ahora!
I'll probably do fine on it anyways. I mean, it's basically all stuff I learned last year anyways...
