SLEEPY PEOPLE YELL SO THAT THEY STAY AWAKE!
Hmmm, so... I'm talking to one of my friends and we're going to the local game store this weekend to see if they have anything in stock, but does anyone here know anything about the World of Darkness RP system? I think it sounds like it might be fun to pick up, but I'm totally unfamiliar with it. I really hope the local game store has at least one of the books in stock so I can read through it and get a basic idea of what it's about before I spend a bunch of money on them sweatdrop I should really learn to DM over the summer. One of my friends who's going to be attending university with us next year is possibly going to DM for us all so we can actually play D&D (everyone's been too busy this year/none of us have bothered to figure out DMing yet) and I want to be able to trade off with him so that he can be a PC if he wants to. Herberjerber. I should start heading to my next class here in another 5-10 minutes.
I'm scheduled for fall semester classes. Whoo. I think I'll keep this schedule... Well, unless one of the earlier times opens up for Japanese that will actually work for me. It's not exactly what I wanted, but it's still some decent classes. Sociolinguistics should be fun ^.^

Lobo: In terms of learning to DM, I've found that it is something one can only learn by doing it, If you have a handle for story writing it might be a little easier in terms of setting up basic campaign, but the most difficult part for me is handling the variables that inevitably end up changing to something I could never have predicted. For instance, if one of the characters swallows an ancient artifact your group was looking for. Knowing when to have combat encounters is a little tricky, but you also have a lot of flexibility with it. DM'ing changes a lot with every group that you game with, as well.
That tangent probably didn't help you AT ALL, but uh. Yeah.
