Yeah. With my friend group, flexibility will be something I need in abundance. Oh gosh, the time Ajay tried to run a campaign for them the party was pretty much all chaotic neutral and wouldn't go along with the plots that he was trying to get them on because their characters were like "Nope, doesn't involve us." He did manage to get them to finally play along when he came up with a king that would send them on missions because one of the PCs was in love with him xp They're trolls, but they're my trolls.
I think I'll just bug my dad over the summer and try to get him to give me some pointers and explain the various tables of death to me. But you know... At least we're playing on 3/3.5 instead of 2. Oh god, I remember playing 2nd edition and there were so many tables to convert everything and I was never really certain what was going on xp Storytelling is something I can do, though.

You might want to try Pathfinder. I haven't played it, but from what I've heard, they fixed all of the broken parts of 3.5. Apparently it's a lot more player friendly and easier to understand, and doesn't allow you to make a peasant canon under the rules for a siege weapon.

Well, actually, a railgun. In short, you hire enough peasants to line them up for over two miles. and buy a ladder. Break the ladder down, hand the pole to the peasant at the end of the line. Have each peasant ready a throwing action, and have them each fire them off in succession. The pole is thrown in roughly 6.some seconds and achieves enough velocity to do decent damage either to an opposing army, or castle door.

D&D is great, but the rules sometimes let you do ridiculous and crazy things. It can be really ridiculous and difficult for new DM's

Finals are this week. So frazzled! I have two papers to write over the weekend, but... I can get those done. I'm pretty sure. Yep sweatdrop Studying for the Japanese final is going to be what kills me. Oh gosh, I hope that my writing class final isn't too bad. I have no clue what that's going to be like. Auhg, stress!

Double-post, but... I'm done with finals now! But I need to pack and finish the cleaning before I can leave because my roommate is already gone and I can't get her to do the dusting xp Why do I need to dust? Vacuuming is fine, but dusting sucks. Bluh! Why do people shed so many skin cells? It's disgusting!

You can do it! I believe in you. Good luck with your papers and exams.
Now that I'm done, maybe I'll be able to actually fall asleep and stay asleep... sweatdrop Packing packing packing. I need to find some ducks to throw this stale bread at.
