There was something one of the receptionists mentioned when talking with one of the residents about how those of us at the Front Desk often are "abused" by everyone we come in contact with. And she's totally right. Sometimes people don't always understand the lengths we go to get their appointments or rides set up. Or pass along their requests for assistance or delivery of items (like bath towels).
Or they always tell us about the issues they're having, often making it seem like we should the miracle cure for all. That we can miraculously make things right again. Some times we might be able to. But not all the time.
We're the ones that get the brunt of everyone's frustration/anger/etc. when we are just an innocent bystander getting caught in the middle.
