Will sighed in relief as the fire went away. Good thing too, because I don't think I would've had time to scribble rain again. He thought to himself.

Max stalked the street in his usual measured strut. If the street were a tad bit busier, people would have occasionally stopped to take a second look. It wasn't that Max was overly handsome, or making a social statement. He simply projected a greater state of being than most people. His biggest pain in the a** was that state of being was so likable. He hated people, well no. That was a generalization. He just hadn't met anyone he liked yet.

A young man floated in the sky playing a guitar as he hummed a song. "Life is grand...♪." He said as he kept strumming softly. He looked down seeing a town below him. He spun so he faced downwards and dove bombed straight towards it. "Let us see what is in store in this town." He said smiling as he kept playing. when he landed a breeze began blowing through the town as he began walking through it.

Max cut through the breeze that had stirred in the empty street he was walking. it carried an oddly smokey scent, like the smell of burning leaves in fall.
He paused in front of an alleyway and considered going down it when his phone buzzed. It'd be them, his lovely side job making yet another request.

The young man hummed as he walked through town. He heard some sad music playing form a house and froze. he listened and gulped. "That song..." he said and got a flashback of something. he shoke it off and kept walking. He walked past a young man infront of a alley way. He began humming again and soon another soft breeze began blowing again.

"Will." Will said simply, wondering who had tried to burn them alive and how Camilla had known to help them. I'm probably over thinking this, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious. Will thought to himself.

"Well thanks anyways..." Skye said. "I figured you're not since now would have been the perfect opportunity to set us ablaze." She explained, still be a bit wary of her surroundings, just in case the pyro was still around.

Answering his phone Max checked around him surreptitiously before speaking.
"Hello" he said, leaning back against an alleyway wall on the heel of one of his shoes. It would not do to get dirty after all.
He listened quietly, the phone calls were almost always one way in this respect, he was pretty sure they were recorded beforehand too and the voice was always modulated though he often thought it sounded suspiciously like Microsoft Sam.
This phone call was apparently to alert him of a high rate of Crystal discovery in the area - something he already knew as they'd wanted him here in the first place, and that currently several holders were together. How they knew that even he couldn't figure out, ...unless they had some kind of crystal user who could sense other users.
Sighing Max turned and then turned his face away as someone crossed the alleyway entrance.

The man reached a bar and walked inside. "Hi can I get some info on something?" He asked as the bartender told him what he needed to know. "So he was here...thank you." He said tipping his hat as he walked out singing a song.
