Mala bit her lip and groaned slightly from the pain that rapidly spawned through her body. She resisted the urge to scream out in pain, if only for Van's sake.

Van grunted a bit from the searing pain and such brief suffering was showing on his face. His threshold for such pain he found to be much smaller as a mortal.

((And now I must trot off to english.))

{See you when you get back. As for why I took so long, let's just say drama was ensuing. Not the good kind, either.}

Mala kept her concentration, not letting herself whimper or cry out any further until everything was done with.

Van gasped in relief once it was over and instinctively pulled Mala in for a hug.

{Yes, except your father was your problem and my psychotic attention whore sister is mine. Trust me, you don't want to know half of the s**t she pulls on a daily basis.}

Mala returned the hug ever so tightly, gently resting her cheek against his.

"So we're married, we're parents, we have a healthy sex life, and now we're soul bound...Any other bonds we have yet to add to our list?" Van said with a faint smile, his body filled with a slight warm tingling sensation, no doubt a result of essentially sharing a soul now.

((Sounds like you too are left with an awesome mom for sanity. I'm sorry. >.<))

"Maybe. We'll just have to see, won't we?" Mala chuckled softly. She couldn't help but recall how long they had been together and how they first met each other. They had just gotten so far since then, hadn't they?

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Hopefully any others are far more pleasant instead of the whole 'share the pleasure, share the pain' we have now..." Van said with small smile. Maybe it was just him, or maybe it was due to the soul bond, but their embrace somehow felt warmer and more pleasant now.

{As a reply to your previous post, hell yes. My mom's awesome. A bit too forgiving, but she's awesome.}

Mala kissed Van lightly on the cheek. "They will be, surely. There will be hard times for us, but everything will just get better and better."

"I know. I just hope I don't turn paranoid about accidentally getting you hurt somehow." Van said half joking.

{Hell to the yes. I don't see how they can put up with it all.}

"Don't worry, we'll be just fine. If anything, we might eventually adapt to this and actually find it quite useful." Mala said to Van, refusing to look negatively at this - else she lose that optomism she worked on for centuries to gain.

((I'm also sorry you have more to put up with as I am a lucky only child.))

"Only if telepathy is part of the package." Van joked.

Mala chuckled softly. "Who knows? It might just happen."

"Well, can you tell what I'm thinking?" Van asked with a grin. Right now he was trying to focus on the good here. That being sex infinitely more amazing than it already was for them.
