Misery_Rose_SinClair Persephanie felt the vibrations from when Joshua slapped the water, could hear his voice faintly. She paused and resurfaced about ten feet away. I'm sorry. She said, frowning a little. Joshua looked startled as Persephanie emerged from the water. "Persephanie!" He expression changed to one of pure happiness. She had come back! "It's not your fault." He reassured her. "I just was being selfish. But do you have to go? There's so much I can learn from all of you!" He looked pleadingly at her.

Aries giggled. "It's just a fairy tale, silly! Even if it did exist, it'd probably be really deep in the water in like... a dangerous coral reef or something (hint). Impossible for you to get." she smiled at him sweetly. "You should be happy that you're human. Sometimes I wish I were human."

Logic took a deep breath, calming himself, before calling out to Alex. "I'm over here." he called out, climbing onto the rock where he could see Alex.
Alex grinned and waved, diving into the water and swimming to the rock. He gave Katalina a friendly smile and a hello before turning his attention to Logic. "I'm so sorry I was late, Mizer. I found some really cool rocks farther up the hill and couldn't pull myself away." he said, shaking his head.

Katalina examined the human cautiously. Having met Joshua and knowing that this human already knew a merman and had done nothing to hurt him made Alex seem a little less scary.
And...Mizer? She'd thought the merman's name was Logic.
Curious, she glanced over at Logic, considering asking the obvious question.

I don't have to go. There's just... many more human's then I'm used too. Persephanie said, swimming a closer so she didn't have to speak loudly. She glanced from Joshua to Alex, then ran a hand through her hair.

Joshua chuckled. "I imagine that it was hard enough to just come to where I was, let alone two humans. But I don't want to hurt any of the seafolk and obviously, neither does Alex." He smiled. "So you see? You're perfectly safe. Nothing to worry about."

"You're kidding, right?" Aries laughed and followed him below the water, swimming past him quickly. You can't out swim a mermaid, silly~ She spoke to him telepathically under the water.

Katalina gave a hesitant shrug. "She's right to be scared, Joshua," she pointed out. "You and Logic's friend are the exception, not the rule."
She rubbed her fingers over the scar on her lower arm. It had come from a fish hook that had gotten too close.
"Either we live scared or we don't live at all...now."

"I suppose that's true." Joshua frowned thoughtfully. He glanced at Alex. "Well, it's nice to finally meet someone who shares my facination with the sea and it's inhabitants." He held out his hand. "I'm Joshua."

he looks at her and pouts " hey!! no fair.." he began to swim faster but stops as he draws his knife then without warning a great white shark bites down and pins him as Axel fights his way out of the mouth. he stabs the left eye of the shark and he is released then he gets ready for the second attack.

Oh no! Aries swam towards him as fast as she could, scooping him up in her arms and carrying him to the surface. Her tail slapped the shark as she passed. When they surfaced, Aries quickly looked over Axel's body for wounds with sadness and concern for him in her eyes. "Oh no! I'm so sorry that happened to you. The sharks around here aren't normally man eaters."

he coughs a bit and sighs " its ok sigh.. i do not blame the shark " he takes out his shirt and covers his wound.

Alex grinned and shook Joshua's offered hand. "Nice to meet you, too." he said, grinning around at everyone. Logic shrugged in an answer to Katalina's questioning look. "He refused to call me Logic like my brothers." he said. Alex nodded stubbornly, slimbing up onto the rock next to Logic. "Mizer is a nice name and it's the one your mother and father gave you." he said, shaking his head.
