Krynn took in deep breaths, responding after she calmed, "I'm fine. Father is waiting," The voice was bland. Not pretentious or angry or traumatized. Just bland and calm. The snake's emotions were burning to get out, but for the moment, she was contained. The hold that the markings had over her was something best not mentioned. She didn't know if Rajin would use these things against her. She walked on, and the better-than-anyone walk was still in place. The lamia appreciated her lover's concern, but she couldn't show it. She met with Kor and her mother.. who was gushing over how grown Kor was and how well he handled the situation and how appreciative she was of his quick thinking to call them! Krynn, on the other hand, received not much more than a glance and a wicked smile.

Rajin gave little more than a quiet hum as his all too familiar detective curiosity seemed to kick in. What was all this about? Why was Kor getting so much damn praise while Krynn was stuck to playing second fiddle? Wasn't she some kind of princess? Oh well. The genie would figure it out later. For now, he was off to go meet the rest of Krynn's parents and get on a plane or whatever Crete and meet with his own parents. Hopefully Krynn's father wasn't some kind of douche that made his own look like the best father in the whole world. Because if that was case, the ifrit might actually consider doing something so disgusting to him, he might kill himself, like go fishing or some other father and son bonding experience.

Krynn and Kor exchanged a glance and it only took a second for Kor to redirect the conversation to his sister. "This is about Krynn's big day! Just look at them! Such a happy couple," When he spoke, he and Krynn made eye contact again and he watched as his sister pulled up a smile and leaned toward Rajin. Kor grinned and looked back to Moira. "We need to get to the plane, mom. Come on!" He and Moira went ahead, with Kor occupying the Zmeya mother as best he could.

When they turned and moved, Krynn leaned back away from Rajin and her smile fell. She was hurt by her mother's actions, but it didn't show on her face. In just a few short moments, the effects of the touch wore off and she looked to her husband. Her look was hard, like it was before, but it was an act and he knew it. She stared up at him with her emotions bubbling under the surface. "I should have warned you," It was all she said before shaking her head and following after her family. She should have warned him more, let him know that she was not the favorite. That she was home-schooled to keep her from better society. She was rich and haughty and she had the confidence of a goddess.. but Krynn Zmeya was not the most loved child and she knew it along with everyone else.

It was now apparent something was wrong. Kor definitely seemed to be the favorite child. Rajin could already make the assumption. His mother didn't think twice about listening to him, and Krynn's behavior and body language showed it. But The ifrit still needed more. More than just some clues for his brash mind to go off of. Rajin watched as the Zmeya's went forward. An idea popped into the genie's mind. One that he didn't resist thinking twice about. Noticing the distance between Krynn and brother and mother, the ifrit intercepted her. "Stop." Rajin said in hushed monotone voice. Once the two stopped, he looked behind himself to see if the two lamia's were looking. They didn't seem to be. That was good enough for the genie. Rajin leaned down and pressed his lips against his wife, giving her his best tender loving kiss. As the ifrit pulled away, he looked Krynn in the eyes. "Just as your brother said. This is your day. Anyone ruining it will deal with me." The genie then turned around and proceeded to carry on. "Now come on." The genie appeared to been putting on a show as he returned to his tough commanding self. But, deep down, he was gooey. The bracelet on his left hand glowed a tiny bit. A blank space shimmered a tiny golden light.

Krynn, at first, was upset that he would stop her. It was so important to get on that plane and endure the next extended time with her family. It was so crucial to get on that plane and go to Crete. It was so- oh. She returned the kiss almost immediately, even setting down her bag for the moment. It felt so reassuring and tender and it made Krynn shiver as he pulled away. She listened as he spoke and the smile she gave in return was all that she could muster before he turned and began walking again. She grabbed her suitcase and followed after quickly. Both of them were big fakers and both of them knew it well. She walked near him, and if he would have had any free hands, she might have been brave enough to take his hand and walk closer to him. Instead, she settled for brushing her fingers over his bracelet and hand. Perhaps she wouldn't be miserable.

Rajin continued walking. The group had to take a car ride through that weird tunnel all the student to go through to get to the school and human world, but after that, they were at a private airport where they were greeted by a private jet. The jet itself was nothing shirk at from the common man's view, but Rajin just scoffed. It was nothing new to him. His family was incredibly wealthy. They had a jet of their own. This was just another day to day sight for the genie. Hopefully he and his wife would have their own cabin. The ifrit went to grab his luggage, but before he knew it, it was snatch away by some helpers who were then out of reach of the ifrit. The genie snarled. He hated the whole pampered feeling of servants. He wasn't use to it. He didn't want to some rich snobby person who paid people to wipe his own a**. "Perfect..." Rajin growled as all of his luggage was taken away and put on the jet for him.

While in the car, Krynn had sort of attached herself to Rajin. She leaned against him while she sat between her brother and her lover. She wasn't affectionate or clinging, but she did hold his arm loosely. She watched ahead as her mom talked about how fantastic Crete would be and how gorgeous her little girl's wedding would be, thanks to Kor's quick planning. Thanks for Kor's initiative. Thanks to Kor. When they got out, Krynn stayed close to Rajin. He was unimpressed by their wealth and Krynn watched Moira's eyes sharpen. She met her mother's gaze with equally sharp eyes, and watched as the woman simply went up into the jet. Krynn handed her bag to a servant once one arrived, and she looked to Rajin as he growled. She wanted to pull him down to her and kiss him and tell him it would be okay, to just endure. Instead, she heard her brother's voice.

"We're all going to share a sectioned-off area. Mom and dad-" He tried not to notice Krynn's subtle cringe, "-Will be in a private area. If you two prefer, I can sit a few rows ahead," Kor smiled. He was just looking out for the sister that he loved. It was weird watching his sister look to Rajin in question. His sister was a woman who took charge and hardly took other people's opinions in before making her decision. Kor was confused by it. He didn't understand the show of submission from his sister.

Rajin took notice of the sharp look in Krynn's mother's eyes that were at directed him. The Zmeya family might not have been aware of Rajin's lack of respect for authority. One could call the ifrit anti-social, but that wouldn't be right since he has made a few friends at school and he more or less obeyed his teachers at school. The boy just held contempt for those who tried to browbeat him. Krynn's mother no such effect on him.

When began speaking about the cabins and such, Krynn looked to Rajin, expecting him to make a decision. Her face still looked stern and viperish, but the genie could see was facade. Her big round eyes were nothing like the vipers of the family. Even when she tried to mimic them. And while her face didn't show it, she was being submissive in nature. Her body language was one sign. She was very close to ifrit. And the way she looked to him for answer spoke volumes. In the short month Rajin worked for the school as an amatuer investigator, he picked knowledge about interview people getting information out of, even when they wouldn't talk. The body was like an open book.

Rajin turned his head to Kor. "Do what you wish Garter Snake." The genie answered, sounding slightly endearing when he called Kor, garter snake. "Just be sure to give us some privacy when needed." Rajin's tone was cold, but formal. It didn't have it's usual fire. Needless to say, the ifrit was being "nice" to the little brother.

Kor watched as his sister continued to look at the genie and he watched more as he was looking back down at her. There was a language between the two that Kor couldn't pick up and it was a language he felt he could never fully grasp. He watched as Rajin turned back to him and spoke. While his father, or any other viper, might have taken his words for insult, Kor took them as endearment and grinned to the ifrit. "Sure! Just give me the word and I'm another few rows up," He suspected the ifrit meant this for sexual intent, and was fully aware that he wouldn't want to be around such an encounter. Krynn locked eyes with Kor ad he nodded and went toward the jet.

Krynn was less than pleased with the continued insult to the Zmeya. They were proud vipers who did not take insults as compliments. She had a flash of displeasure in her gaze before she heard her brother speak. She continued to be close to her lover and when she met eyes with Kor, it was a feeling like he understood. She knew he didn't. He didn't know that the two had only become sexual partners just a day prior. He didn't know the hatred that had been held back on school grounds. He only knew the way she looked to him for consent, the way her eyes softened and rounded at the sight of him. He knew, and Rajin knew, far more about Krynn's emotions than she did. She was still convinced she wouldn't love the ifrit.

Rajin continued forward with his wife in hand. The ifrit was unaware of what he was doing. He didn't know that fingers were interlocked with Krynn. He boarded the jet and immediately felt gush a wind upon entering. It wasn't hot or cold. The inside of the jet didn't look too busy save for a few servants. Rajin assumed they were hiding somewhere. "So Kor. Where do we sit?" The genie asked the younger Zmeya.

Kor grinned and motioned toward the back. Instead of waiting to be told, though, he took his seat closer to the front, requested a pair of headphones and a pillow, and seemed to have the better idea of the three. Sleeping wasn't immediate for the viper, but he was relaxed and zoned out from the couple.

- - - - -

It had been a few hours and by now it was dark. Even the lights in the cabin were dimmed for them. Krynn was cuddling Rajin, legs across his lap and his arm holding her in. The two might as well have been sharing one seat. Luckily for the two, neither Kor nor servants disturbed them or invaded their privacy. The snake placed gentle kisses to the ifrit's cheeks and forehead in hopes to have him zone back in to conversation with her. Since arriving on the jet, the two hadn't spoken much. With everyone else seemingly asleep, Krynn wanted to be able to talk with him. She was submissive and careful and everything Rajin knew in private. She wanted him to pay attention to her and speak and tell her about his parents so that she could prepare herself for her new family.
PostPosted: Thu Aug 01, 2013 6:53 pm

The two were seated or rather, lying down in a bed-like capsule, cut off from the rest of the cabin, save for an exit to the outer cabin. The entire time, Krynn was all over her husband. Possibly because of romance, the other because Rajin was a walking heat lamp for the snake. The two had been rather quiet. Finally, after one too many kisses from the lamia, Rajin spoke up. "Twelve hour flight to an island of the coast of Greece. My parents are probably already there." The ifrit sighed then looked to the snake lying on his chest. "By the way, be careful of my father. He like to boast. I swear that man is just a perverted pig. He'll brag about the giant harem he had in high school." The ifrit's voice was hot with contempt. His dad was just a heaping mess of family problems for the genie. "As for my mother, well, just say she looks young and you'll be golden. Or maybe you won't have to say anything. She's already about to die from the sheer excitement."

Mostly it was a submissive action as a result of her surroundings. Her nature was normally so assertive and in control that when it came to her family, she felt powerless and disliked and it was, in her mind, the best choice to stick around Rajin and Kor. Mostly Rajin. That.. and the heat he provided for the girl. He spoke and looked down at her, and she snatched a quick kiss before he spoke again. When he spoke with a fire about his father, she kissed him again before he spoke. She smiled to him. "At least someone is excited," She gave a quiet laugh before she nuzzled into his chest and spoke again, soft and careful. "I wish we could just have.. more time. They expect so much of us. I bet they're all already plotting grandchildren," Krynn didn't want any. She wasn't even sure if it was possible between the two of them. She didn't want to know. She just wanted to wrap herself around her warm lover and kiss him and not see or hear her family any longer. She wasn't sure how much she could handle.

The ifrit gave a tiny frown. He also wished the two could have more private time. And not just in the sexual way. He quickly daydreamed the two walking the sandy shores of Crete together, holding hands, side by side, staring at the sunset...These were some oddly intimate and romantic thoughts for the genie. He even caught himself thinking the same thing. "I'm sure my mother is expecting some. While I have no intentions at the moment or any time soon., she'll most likely nag me. You may get lucky though. Something tells she going love her new daughter-in-law." Rajin was being awfully sweet. It almost disgusted how naturally it all seemed to flow out. He felt like he was programmed to do it. The next he did must have been something he could logically explain, right? Rajin dug his hands under Krynn's side and gripped her hips before plopping her down waist. "For now though, just focus on me."

The assumption that Rajin's mother would love her made Krynn feel conflicted. She wasn't sure if she was grateful and elated or nervous and unbelieving. What if she could tell Krynn wasn't like them? She shut her eyes tightly, pushing her nose and face into Rajin's chest. Though his intentions were good, Krynn couldn't place her feelings. He touched her, though, and instead of freezing or moaning, the snake just kept silent. The effect of touching her marks was normally limited only from skin to skin, but with her unknowing attachment to Rajin, even touching her through her clothes seemed to do the trick just fine. Her eyes weren't shut as tightly and she seemed calm and peaceful. She looked up to the genie, and her eyes were void of strong emotion. No more looking worried or unhappy. Instead, she was blank, staring up at her husband. She focused on him, as per his suggestion, but she didn't speak. Behavioral modification in every touch.
