Physical Description: Taiena? More like tiny. Taiena is small in height and frame, with curly black hair and brown eyes.
Personality: If Veena imparted nothing more to her daughter, Taiena appreciates the value of hard work. Sweet toned, and easy to get along with, Taiena is the very image of the healer she was training to be with an impeccable bedside manner. Until someone pushes their luck too hard. While she understands a sick patient can act out, she has no problem with pinning down the area she's trying to tend to if she has to. Her tolerance level for wasted time is actually shorter than her mother's, and she has the stubbornness needed to out-will anybody fighting with her.
However, her hard head will also knock against others in less healing-related matters. While not always a bad thing - she keeps secrets so well nobody could strangle them out of her - it does mean if she has a stance on something, she will stand her ground against anybody she must. She will also continue to throw herself against problems she needs to knock down.
This balances, sometimes oddly, with her generally gentle nature - Taiena was absolutely molded into the idea of a healer with a soft touch and soothing way of speaking. Her word choice can be considered peculiar at times, as it seems to almost cater towards deescalation and calming. She handles angry individuals extremely well - taking none of their s**t, but gently putting them back in their place.
As a healer, and not a fighter, at heart, adjusting to life as a dragonrider has been a bit of a skull-drag for Taiena. Not in that flying against thread is particularly taxing, but where her Kdandjith can handle a few hard blows with relative comfort, Taiena doesn't hold up in an actual physical altercation. She has patched herself up just as much as she's had to glue her bonded back together.

History: From the day the girl could put her nose to a grindstone, she was found at her mother's knee, absorbing the world as the Journeyman Healer lived it - though only on and off as her mother came and went for many years. Still, the young girl seemed to take to her mother's work well enough, and when Veena came home to stay, she officially apprenticed under her mother.
Veena was no more tolerant of her daughter's shortcomings than any other of her students, and the young woman quickly adapted. The two made appearances at more than one Hatching to remain on hand in case of emergency, though Taiena had declined a search years previously.
When she was 19, a fight between two hatchlings dragged a young boy into the fray, and when the fight moved from his savaged body, she quickly ran onto the sands under her mother's guidance to retrieve him - but the fight came back. Instinctively throwing herself over the boy's body to protect him, she prepared herself for claws and pain.
If you touch her I will tear you apart!
An egg shattered and a small, but angry, blue burst forth, crossing the sands and throwing himself into the fight of his siblings, snarling and biting. He was absolutely savaged for his efforts - but his clutchmates weren't much better off. Cautiously, Taiena took this time to retreat to the side of the sands with the wounded candidate, though she kept looking out to the sands where the fighting was slowly dying down.
The blue chased after his two siblings, though they seemed to move off despite his efforts before turning and making a straight shot at where Taiena and her mother crouched tending to the wounded candidate.
Veena instructed her daughter to move out of the dragon's way, and she did so willingly. The blue stepped right over him to throw himself right into the girl's arms - much to her shock.
Forget him. I have fought for you. Tend to my wounds only. he snapped and Taiena hefted the blue off of the candidate.
"You find yours first - then I can tend to whatever you want!" she snapped back at him, dumping him into the sands. The blue again threw himself upon her - and none too gently.
I have! I have fought for you! Now tend to my wounds - there will be many more battles for you and I. this time, the rainbow of impression filled his eyes, and Taiena knew immediately that she would not be working on anymore candidates for the rest of the day - she had a beat up hatchling to patch up.
Khandjith was not going to make her job easy. Especially when thread returned and the blue was all but prepared to fight the entire thing by himself! He has made an eager addition to his wing, at the very least and Taiena finds herself inching towards Journeyman status to tend to all dragons - much to Khandjith's annoyance - when the two are on the ground.
