M'jes's attention oriented sweep of flame, freed the thread in near Cyliodath. It gave him a moment to properly crush a particularly pointed piece of Firestone, rather than hastily bite his tongue in a rush to toast the thread before him. He gave a gentle nod in things, before gliding back in formation.

Caironairth’s quick spout of fire takes Wa’ren by surprise, as they’d been waiting for it to fall within reach. He’s quick on grabbing more firestone, ready to give more to try again for the falling clump -- figuring Caironairth had missed. Yet he’s pleasantly surprised to see his dragon had hit his mark, despite how far it’d been.

It had hurt the first time enough, a second time was just salt in the wound. Cyliodath snarled, at the wind. At the thread. At J'er. Anything that would listen. He beat his wings furiously, spitting ichor and shards of firestone from his mouth.

"Doing all right?" Bitah asked as they flew through the ever-darkening skies, the sun barely visible over the horizon anymore. Phocath gave a nod and glanced to his left, spotting a wingmate who looked less than energetic. He gave them a trumpet of encouragement to hopefully help them along.
