La Belle Isolde Sanzoskitsune I actually like FMA but to each his own.. dude sucks you don't get the good anime's so you've never seen Paranoia Agent? Samurai Champloo? FLCL? Trigun? god... I can think of so many its sad LOL Downloads and brothers who get spoiled and buy s**t. We own all of FMA, the first to discs of Paranoia agent and all of Samurai Champloo. I've only seen fansubs of a single episode of both FLCL and Trigun, I didn't particularly like the premise of Trigun though. Then again, someone who annoys me was the one who tried to show it to me and that could be why I don't like it. Even the anime club here shows crappy shows. On a random note: OMG DID ANYONE EVER WATCH REBOOT!? I LOVED REBOOT! That show was freakin awesome! made me wonder if you like destroyed things on your comp when you won games afterwards though....

I would buy the whole series if I knew where. It matured really quickly, and I even had a little crush on Bob when I was younger. And Megabyte's voice was so awesome (Tony Jay kicks a**).
Hurray for Canadian cartoons biggrin

YTV (The station that originally aired Reboot) went crazy retro once. It brought back Sailor Moon and Reboot and Planet Wars (is that what it was called?) and you can even still see them on Friday nights way after midnight. I was in heaven.
I heart Mike the TV

mrgreen Now ReBoot fits what I consider to be the criteria for old cartoons. Nice segue! I liked the concept of ReBoot. I thought Hexidecimal was funny.

Sanzoskitsune I found something wrong with the fact that Serena was supposed to be in middle school and her boyfriend was in college... The show was toned down for North America, that's not the only thing messed up with that show. I remember watching the Japanese sub of the episode where Uranus and Neptune come in and Lita was actually attracted to the dude looking one. I find it disturbing moreso that they cut it out though, I could enjoy it so much more if they kept some more of the adult themes in it. Also, Darien's English solution to everyone's problems is to "have some hot chocolate" when I do believe it's tea in the original (I could be very wrong though).

I still don't get their relationship to this day, mind you. He was smart, calm, cool, collected, mature... she was not in any sense of it. I guess she was supposed to mature because of all the s**t she had to do, but I really didn't see much change in her. EDIT: look at me double posting without realising it, whee!

crying Toned down or not, it was great!
Actually, one of my favorite enemies in the series was the couple that showed up after Berel was defeated. Y'know, the ones where the guy played that flute? I liked the tune he played with that flute.
