((*snaps fingers* Drat! I thought you did a fine job as T.O.M. the first time around, and the Zelly likes being lazy with minimal characters anyway. >XD Oh well. I suppose I should probably figure out what our dagger-man is going to do first then, huh? >_>;; ))

"I guess at least with me being the cook, I won't be getting us burned or anything." Van teased.

"True. Plus, we both get to eat and not hope to catch food poisoning instead of whatever ungodly creation my cooking would become!" Mala joked with a small shrug and a wink.

"Wait, we're not letting mom try cooking again are we?" Kai said with dread as he came out from the bathroom while pulling a pair of earplugs from his ears.

"No sooner than we'd let you stay here alone and without supervision." Mala teased Kai back with a playful grin.

"Hardy har har. That hole in the wall was a one time thing and dad made sure it got fixed." Kai said as he pocketed the ear plugs. "And I don't know what the hell you two were doing last night, but good gods you two must have been having fun. I can't remember you two ever being that loud before."

Mala's eyes widened considerably once she heard what Kai said. At this point, Mala's face was as red as inhumanely possible. "Well...I...uhm..." It had been a long time since she had been this embarassed.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"We forgot the barrier..." Van muttered as he head/palmed.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Damn it I can't believe that we forgot the barrier!" Mala whined softly, her gaze locked onto the ground at this point.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"And you two wonder why we don't visit." Kai said walking past them into the kitchen.

"It was a first time mistake!" Mala protested, her face still flushed up to a bright red.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Or you forgot to put it up because you haven't needed it for a few hundred years." Kai said.

"We'll be gone in a week and we'll double the barrier up until then." Van muttered to Mala before giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Mala still kept her gaze averted as she nodded stiffly. "Yeah..." she mumbled.

"This isn't exactly the first time Kai's teased us for how active we are." Van pointed out quietly.
