Just as Van said this, a seemingly well rested Larai came down stairs. She had used a muting barrier around her head so she could sleep better, and most certainly did. Thankfully she had only just deactivated it.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

((Why is there a Spiderman musical.))

"Good morning sleeping beauty." Van said brightly.

((Food shall beckon soon.))

{Because people are lame?
See you when you get back, then.}

"Good morning. Also, thank you mom for teaching me that muting barrier spell!" Larai said with a broad grin.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Yeah, yeah...Rub it in. You two are just jealous you haven't gotten laid yet." Van snarked.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Just to mess with Van's head, Larai said, "For all you know, I could have slept with dozens of men in my adventures and never introduced them to you. Or I could fancy another gender or creature entirely. But my sex life is my own, for me to know and for you not to. The same goes for you and mother. What you do beneath the bed sheets is your business and I would not like to know it in the least."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"And you know how ladies love the bad boys." Kai added with a smirk.

"I get it, I get it! Sheesh, we raise 'em for a good twenty years or so, we forget to put up the barrier one time, and this is what we get." Van said rolling his eyes. "Seems like the only thing you two are grateful for are the swindling tips and magic!"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Now you both know that isn't true!" Larai began, walking over to hug them both. "You both taught me all that I need to know in order to survive on my own, you gave me trust and hope when no others would, and you have forgiven me for my most fatal faults. What wouldn't I be grateful for?" After a moment she continued, "Plus, thanks to the way you both raised us, we didn't end up with an almost completely nonexistent social life like poor cousin Daemon."

{Tell me if I should edit that last sentence out. XD}

((No no, it makes me lol. xD ))

"Well, I'm glad someone feels that way. Now if only someone else could show their appreciation too." Van said hugging Larai back, hinting at Kai coming to join the group hug. He eventually reluctantly did so.

((Heh, cue the inconveniently timed baby kicking and Van doubling over. XD ))

 

[M3Gnificent]

Just as Larai said what she did, Milly lightly sneezed. "Is someone talking about me? Or am I catching a cold?" she asked herself slightly before dismissing it. "No, no, I was just indirectly referenced."

'Hmmm...the baby's kicking again.' Mala thought to herself as they all hugged.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Urgh..." Van was way ahead of her, automatically moving a hand down to clutch his lower stomach as he bent over slightly. At this point he was determined to think the baby was doing this to him on purpose.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Van? Are you alright?" Mala asked worriedly, placing an arm over his shoulders and waiting patiently for his answer.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Just...just not feeling well....Must have caught something is all..." Van lied, hoping to not give away their bond so soon, if at all.

((*rubs chin* I'm pondering my current chances in the avi arena...I like to think my avi is pretty awesome right now, but I've entered plenty of times in the past only to have jackasses dis me in the comments.))
