Tianara looked up, frowning. 'Head height' for Joshua was a little over Tianara's head - he was a bit taller than her. "Oh," she muttered. "Okay." She stretched up to her tiptoes, reaching to get the blankets down. Not quite being able to reach, she stopped and glared up at the shelf. "Come on..." she muttered, trying to stretch a little farther.

Her free hand was braced against the closet door to hold herself as she stretched beyond her balance point. She jumped, trying to get that one good yank, and finally one came down. Unfortunately, the closet door swung open farther as well, and Tianara nearly went down with it, just saving herself from colliding with Joshua.

Looking thoroughly embarrassed, Tianara scrambled back from the closet door, giving it a glare. Then, irritably, she sighed. "These?" she asked, holding up the blanket she had pulled down for Joshua's inspection.

Tianara had noticed Joshua's amused look, and it had only spurred her determination to get the blanket down herself. Now she was thoroughly embarrassed, and couldn't even bring herself to look him directly in the face. "I..." She looked at the bed, frowning. "Shouldn't you take the bed? I mean, I'm wet," she pointed out. "Is that good for beds? I mean, I guess I could use the towel, but..."

She poked the mattress, looking uncertain. The last thing she wanted to do was ruin Joshua's things - wasn't it bad enough that she was destroying all his clothing in salt water?

"Besides, the floor doesn't look very comfortable," she said, frowning. "You're going to need all the rest you can get if the Dark One comes back - we don't have Sorry and the others to help us out this time." Tilting her head, she looked from the patch of floor Joshua was spreading his blanket on to the bed. There looked to be enough space for both of them - if Mac didn't return, she didn't see why it shouldn't work out. "Isn't there enough space on the bed for us both, anyway?"

Tianara shrugged that off. "Without someone to back me up, I won't be much of a defense," she replied cheerfully enough. When he blushed and looked away, she blinked at him, confused. What on earth was the matter now? "Joshua?" she asked, sounding as bewildered as she felt. "Is something the matter?" Had she said something wrong?

She sprawled across part of the bed, leaving space enough for him to sit down - his relaxed comment about things drying had left her comfortable enough to actually settle on the bed. "There's plenty of space," she decided. "You shouldn't have to go on the floor."

Looking over the edge of the bed at him, she frowned. Why did she get the feeling there was more to this? Surely there had to be a reason why Joshua would rather be on the floor than sharing the bed, even if the logic escaped Tianara.

Tianara, still confused, frowned. "Well, we're friends, aren't we?" she questioned, not seeming too concerned. Being sixteen years old and very innocent by the standards of the human world, she had only a vague grasp on what 'lovers' were - and what they did. But the concept of 'friends' she understood pretty well. "So wouldn't it be all right?"

Eventually, deciding that whatever this mysterious human custom was, it was stronger than her commonsense reasoning, she shrugged. "Well, all right," she said quietly. "If it's that awkward. But we should trade off," she decided abruptly. "If we have to stay in here for longer than just tonight, we should trade. It's not right that you'd always have to stay on the floor."

She looked down at him to see what he thought of that. If he didn't agree to it, she was going to go back to insisting that they share - it just didn't seem right that he get stuck on the floor for however many nights they had to spend in the cabin.

Tianara shifted restlessly, and it was clear she wasn't too happy with this state of affairs, but since Joshua finally seemed to be more at ease again, she decided not to push it. She would argue with him again tomorrow.

For now, though, she was intrigued by this idea that one was to give up everything for guests. "Why?" she asked. "I mean, why do you have to do that?" There had to be a reason for it, of course, just like the bed thing, but Tianara didn't really get it. Although she wished she'd had the chance to ask Kiro more of this stuff - so that she wouldn't have to annoy Joshua with her questions - she hadn't. So being annoying it was.

She frowned as another thought occurred to her. "Where's Mac?" she wondered. "We just sent him to check on Aria, didn't we? He should be back by now." Her gaze lifted to Joshua's, worried. "It'll be dark soon."

Mac went to work, taking care of the delicate objects. He put them back neatly on the shelves as he remembered where they were. At times he glanced at Aria, smiling.

Mike was cleaning up most of the debris that wasn't a treasure, like dirt and such. He was used to being the cleaner in his house.

Mac smiled, "Its alright, I didn't have anything else to do, and the house seems nice now" he told her in a carefree tone. He looked out of the window, and wondered if maybe he should meet back with the others. He also pondered on if Aria should go with him or not, as she might be in danger as well. The night seemed unsafe recently, and he knew all three of them were battle capable, but he felt the urge to protect her. "Aria, do you have any plans tonight?" he asked.

Mike just finished up and yawned. He knew his girl friend was getting off work soon. "May I use your phone?" he asked Aria politely.
