spaceEve signaled to Lucy when they reached near the end of their time slot for the tryouts. She spoke with her Vice Captain for a few minutes, then signaled the teams with a shot of red sparks to the sky. "Alright, guys! Tryouts are officially over, Lucy and I are going to work out the last few details and we'll get the team roster poster ASAP!" She waited until everyone else was on the ground, then headed down herself. Overall, they had a good team, so she wasn't worried, but there were quite a few extra players to work around.

She'd miss the older girl; for all that she was strict and demanding, she was a good captain and Lucy had enjoyed working with her. Now, it was her turn to lead and Lucy was determined to do her best. Compared to last year, they were all more experienced so hopefully, the team would perform better too. It was important to have fun of course, but who didn't want to win? Certainly not her, and Lucy'd really like to graduate to graduate with a good record under her belt (she could hardly believe that she and Alec were graduating already). She arrived at the empty pitch a little earlier than usual, carrying her broom and forms with the rest of the equipment levitating behind her. After setting up, Lucy left the forms on a small table to the side with some pens and quills before waiting for people to arrive. Alec was a bit nostalgic about this being his last year of Quidditch, which didn't make much sense, considering the fact that he'd never exactly been a star chaser. Gabby was looking forward to Quidditch tryouts. She had a responsibility to be better then the average player on the team. Not that she was above average. Knowing that Cydney Ellis was her aunt was a big reason for it doing her best. And even though Eve was gone, Gabby still wasn't going to let up. Quidditch was a serious sport and she wasn't going to back down from getting her beater spot. Walking onto the pitch, Gabby spotted Captain Lucy and of course Alec. Heading over broom in hand, she gave a wave to both of them. "Hey, looking forward to tryouts?" She asked them curiously before looking to Lucy. "Who's going to be the lucky person to get vice captain this year?" She couldn't help but ask about that as she grabbed a form.

With briefcases towing the line ƑƖƦƧƬ ƳЄƛƦ ƓƦƳƑƑƖƝƊƠƦ ¤ ƬƛƤЄ ƧƖƊЄ ƛ ✪✪✪Jack practically sprinted across the field in order to get to tryouts on time, especially since he'd been vibrating with excitement most of the week since they'd been posted. Of course it sorta stung that he wasn't doing them with Will, who would probably be going to his own with Slytherin, but he had Londy at least. Plus that meant that once they start playing (if they both made the team) they'd eventually play against each other and see who was the best. And of course, that's really all that mattered. Once he finally reached the middle where people had already arrived he took the form to fill out and tried not to fidget too too much and wear himself out.
