⋮ ۩ ) • • • Teasing Miguel, Kieran reached out to hold him. He watched as Miguel rolled his eyes at him. Kieran soon felt Miguel's arms slide around his neck. He listened as Miguel teased him back. Kieran found his words amusing. Kieran watched as Miguel leaned up and soon felt him lightly kiss his lips before pulling away. He listened as Miguel soon questioned him. Kirean didn't want to part from Miguel. He was concerned about leaving him by himself. "Do you have somewhere to be?" Kirean asked curiously as he wasn't sure if Miguel had other plans once he left.

Holding on to Kieran, Jakob leaned up to kiss him. He pulled back shortly after to question him. He didn't know how they ought to go about this. He didn't think it was a good idea that stay too together the whole time that Kieran was at the hospital. But at the same time, he wasn't ready to make the long journey back to the hotel all on his own. Kieran was offering him the one thing he desperately wanted right now which was to just spend some time together. He couldn't help his need to keep the man safe and wanting him keep his distance. As they stood there, Jakob listened as the male spoke once more, questioning him. Jakob shook his head. "I don't." he replied softly. Jakob was sure he knew what Kieran might say next. But what was the point. He wouldn't be welcome at the hospital. He doubted either Abel or Addy would wanted anything to do with him. Still, he yearned to be with Kieran even if only for a short while. So he wouldn't push him away just yet. Just until he heard all that he had to say.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kieran held onto Miguel as he questioned him. He didn't want to part with Miguel. Kieran also worried about Miguel being by himself. He listened as Miguel answered his question. Kieran nodded, "Good, because I'm not leaving you by yourself." He replied as he leaned down to kiss Miguel. Kieran pulled back as he released Miguel as well. "I need to gather some clothes then we can go." He replied as he stepped away from Miguel. Kirean moved to head out of the living room. He headed toward the stairs to go to his bedroom.

Jakob was comforted by the males embrace. It only made the idea of parting again harder. As Kieran questioned him, he shook his head no and soon gave a short but honest response. Looking up at the male he watched him nod. Jakob felt his cheeks warm to Kieran's bold claim over him. In truth, he was glad to hear him say as much. Jakob closed his eyes as Kieran leaned down to kiss him. He kissed him back sweetly before feeling the male pull back. Opening his eyes once more, Jakob nodded quietly as Kieran spoke and gently pulled away from him.

Releasing his hold on him, Jakob watched as Kieran left the room and started for the stairs. Once the man was gone, he took the time to redress himself and putting on his shoes. When he was finished, he picked up his half-forgotten backpack from the floor and stashed away his gun from earlier. Slinging the bag over his shoulder, he walked a little around the room, wondering if he might ever see it again. As he passed the kitchen he caught the gruesome scene of where Abel once laid. What must have been a fairly large pool now was dried and cracked along the linoleum. It was almost unthinkable how Abel could have survived something like that. It must have been very painful. Whomever did this most definitely wanted Abel to suffer.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Leaving Miguel downstairs, Kieran went upstairs to his bedroom. He didn't see anything out of place as he entered. Kieran flicked the light on as he walked towards his closet. He reached on the top shelf to grab a duffel bag. Kieran opened it up as he set it on his bed. He returned to his closet as he went about grabbing a few outfits. Kieran wasn't sure how long he'd be gone. He wanted to prepare himself for whatever was to come. Kirean stuffed his clothes in the duffle bag then went to his dresser drawers to grab out socks, boxers, and a few other things. He gathered those items and put them in the bag as well.Finishing with his clothes, he went into the bathroom to get his essentials.

While waiting for Kieran he couldn't help walking around a little. He was feeling restless. Passing the kitchen, he couldn't help staring at the spot with Abel's blood. Even as his would-be killer, he couldn't say that he would so brutal in his attack. Turning away from the scene, Jakob moved back towards the living room and plopped down on the couch. He leaned back against the cushions while he waited for Kieran. Above him, he could hear the muffled shuffling of Kieran. He didn't want to be more of a bother than he already was, so he let him pack his things in peace.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Finishing up in the bathroom, Kirean returned to his bedroom. He stuffed his items into the duffle bag. Kirean zipped the bag then went to check a few things. He wanted to make sure he had everything he thought he'd need. Kieran wasn't sure when they'd return to the house. He grabbed his bag as he left the room and went to Abel's office. Kieran wasn't sure if whoever had entered the house had gone through it.

He grabbed Abel's laptop off the desk. Kieran wasn't too worried about anything else hiding in the room. He left the room to see if Miguel was still in the living room as he went up stairs. Kieran walked downstairs and into the living room. He saw Miguel sitting on the couch. Kirean walked over as he stood before Miguel with things in hand. "Ready to go?" He asked curiously as he knew Miguel was merely waiting for him.

Leaning back on the couch Jakob waited while Kieran packed his things. He didn't know how long he was planning on being away from the house. But given the time he was up there he figured he must be packing for at least a couple of days. While he waited he looked around the living room. Nothing seemed out of place, at least from what he remembered during the few times he was down here. As he waited, the floor creaked and there was another few minutes of shuffling. It wasn't too much longer before he heard noise on the stairs. Jakob glanced back to see Kieran with a duffel bag and laptop in hand. "Yup." He said nodding. Pushing himself up from the couch, Jakob took up his own bag. "Need any help with that?" he asked, pointing towards the males things with his free hand.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Standing before Miguel, he questioned him. Kieran watched as Miguel stood and gathered his own items. He listened as Miguel questioned him. Kieran shook his head, "No, I'm fine…" He replied as he turned away from Miguel. Kirean started toward the door as he opened it. He held it for Miguel and closed it behind them. Kirean locked it as he started toward his car. He grabbed his keys from his pocket and pushed the trunk lift button on the key fob. Kirean walked to the back and set his things in the trunk. He closed it as he unlocked the rest of the doors. Kieran walked towards the drivers side and opened the door. He slipped inside and shut the door. Kieran started the car as he went about buckling in.

Standing up from the couch Jakob grabbed his backpack and let Kieran know that he was ready. Wanting to be helpful, he asked him if he needed help with his things only to turned down and led to the door. Jakob crossed the room and followed Kieran out the front door. It felt strange to be standing on his porch after such an event, but it couldn't be helped. Walking down the steps, he then walked over towards Kieran car. Along with Kieran's own things, Jakob set his backpack in the trunk as well. Assuming they were both going into the hospital, it would be no use to him anyway. Between the security and their metal detectors, there would be no way he would be allowed in with so many weapons. After dropping his bag in the trunk, Jakob walked around to the passenger side and slipped into the seat. He shut the door behind himself and buckled himself in. When he was ready, he looked to Kieran to see if he was ready.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Getting in the car, Kieran waited for Miguel to join him. He started to the car and buckled himself in. Kieran glanced toward Miguel as he joined him in the car. He waited as Miguel went about buckling himself in. Kirean soon saw Miguel was ready. He went about putting the car into reverse. Kieran was soon heading down the road toward the hospital.

Settling into the passenger seat, Jakob buckled his seat belt and turned to Kieran. He saw that he too was settled and soon the car was started. Jakob sat back quietly as the car was pulled out of the driveway and Kieran started down the street. He watched the neighborhood pass them by as they headed towards the main streets. From there he assumed it was off to the hospital. Jakob didn't mind the silence between them. It came him the time to think of what he might say or do if Addy was hostile towards him. More so, he wondered if Abel would be awake yet. With such grave injuries, it wouldn't be surprising if he was still in a coma. In truth, that was probably for the best. He doubted the man was a very good patient. In normal circumstances his attitude was surly at best. He couldn't imagine what state he might be in if he were awake.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • It didn't take long to get to the hospital. He pulled into the parking lot as he saw Addy's car as well. Kirean parked in the open spot next to it. He wasn't thrilled by the idea of going into the hospital. Kieran wasn't a fan of them. He didn't have good memories of going to the doctors. His mother always seemed to take him to her favorite doctor who provided her with drugs and himself in return for payment. He stopped the car as he turned it off. Kieran unbuckled himself and moved to get out of the car. He shut the door as he moved around the back to wait for Miguel.

The ride to the hospital was fairly quick. They barely said a word to one another, but he didn't mind. He felt as though he'd said about all he needed to at the moment. Jakob sat back in his seat and watched as Kieran steered them through the streets. Pulling into the lot, he felt a bit nervous, like he shouldn't be here. It took less than a minute to find a spot and as if to add to his nerves, they were parked right beside Addy. She already didn't like him, he could only imagine what sort of reaction she would have towards him. As the car came to a stop, Jakob unbuckled his seatbelt and opened his door. After shutting it behind himself, he moved towards the trunk where Kieran stood waiting. Coming closer, he took the males hand into his own. "You sure it's okay I come in?" he asked, wanting to make sure once more. Even though Kieran had reassured him already back at the house, he still worried he was just in the way.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kieran stood waiting for Miguel. Once he joined him, he felt Miguel take his hand. Kirean glanced toward Miguel hearing him question him. He nodded at his words. "Yes, I want you here…And I don't care what anyone says or thinks…Also I'm tired of hiding…if they want to judge us then so be it…I'm not losing you without a fight. " Kieran responded as he watched Miguel. He was tired of hiding their relationship. Kieran never had a relationship with anyone outside of either Addy or Abel. It was merely because he didn't want to. He didn't want to explain himself or hide himself. Kieran wanted a relationship with Miguel. If that meant getting hurt then so be it. He knew what he was getting into when they both started. It wasn't hard to figure out how it would end.
