You attack the chest using the key. The key appears to fit in a peculiar hole, but rather snuggly. To remove the weapon of choice you turn it, and it doesn't come out. There is a click and the top of the chest parts, just slightly, from the bottom. More turning of the wielded key frees it from the hole. Curious, you push the chest further open and take a look.

7.There's a torch on the wall and you can almost see a secret hidey hole in the wall, but it's too dark. Roll a 3 to use the torch and get the item! chianachanwas the first to grab the torch and reach into the hole to find 1000g!
