((sorry for not posting as much as I should have, i had to take care of some college freshman issues but i'm back now lol ^_^))
Iruka sat there looking at the strange little boy who so desperately wanted him to touch his hand, as if to prove to himself that he existed not only to destroy, the he could too have hope. "Not now, we could harm the others" said Iruka as he pointed to the other's cells, "I know how you must feel, but please, hold just a little more" as the words flowed out of iruka's mouth his mind was else were "soon" he though "I'll see you soon..."

((TAIS has been mostly inactive, though we have had her move some Chimerae to places. We mainly just said "they were moved" and went from there XD
Nice to have you back though Mayhem smile ))
If the door had been wooden, the one leading to the experimentation room would have creaked ominously.
As it was, the reinforced steel door glided open on perfectly balanced hinges. An odor of smoke drifted into the room, alerting the Chimera's senses and, later, those of the scientists.
Without a sound, Smoke stepped up next to Devon, peering over the scientist's shoulder at the process. He frowned at the discoloration of her digestive tract, but he didn't know exactly what it was. Since he rarely asked questions, hopefully Devon would talk about the procedure to rid the room of an eerie stillness Smoke had brought with him. And, perhaps, he would learn something of Yani's new employee on the way.

Lonomia did not understand much of anything that Iruka said; all that he knew was that Iruka would not touch him again. Lonomia's breathing quickened, blood pressure rising, distressed. He shoved his fingers through past the second knuckles, not understanding why the other could steal away his chance to be like everyone else. "Touch, touch!" he pleaded.
(("Pleaded" or "plead"?))

((pleaded...i think, but yet again what would a three year immigrant to the USA know...lol))
Iruka looked into Lomina's eyes and felt devastated, he wanted so bad to let him know he wasn't alone that Iruka was there but he could not, he would not risk the other chimeras. "Please wait!" the tears running down Iruka's face showed not enough of the struggle inside Iruka's mind.
How could he make this poor boy suffer even more than what he already had allowed those "lab coats" to do? besides, when he showed Lomina his venom would do nothing to his body Iruka had not been entirely truthful. It was true that the venom would not kill him or damage him too badly but it did come at a price, his eyelids started to became heavy, the tentacle which had touched lomina and was now in pain along with his will were the only things that kept him from falling asleep. True Iruka wouldn't die if Lomia touched him but if he were forced to run or fight for his life it could very well turn out to be deadly.

Lonomia violently shook his head, overcome by the fear that his new hope was false, that another would never come. He tried to pull his hand back, but the knuckles stuck. He yanked it backward and each of his knuckles and his wrist cracked like kindling in a fire. The boy thrashed, trying to free his red fingers. He tried to speak, he really did, though he knew not which words he meant.

Watching how desperate Lonomia turned by being denied his one and only hope Iruka was at loss for words, or actions. What should he do? WHAT could he do with out letting that purple death appear once more? frantically Iruka looked around his cell searching for a solution, his eye's becoming heavier every second as his pulse accelerated by the adrenaline and helplessness he felt at the sight of Lomina's meltdown.
"THERE!" exclaimed a relieved Iruka, he hurried as fast as his feet would allow him to with out tripping towards the bandage that the female "Lab coat" had thrown at him earlier. Iruka knew that this would not stop the "Purple death" as he now called the strange venomous vapor that had emanated from both his and Lomina's skin, but thanks to the adrenaline and his desire to help the poor boy had pushed his tired mind to his limits and found the answer. Iruka wrapped his hands with the dirty bandage and plunged them into his water bowl, this would of course not stop the "purple death" but at leat it would trap it with in the water making it not a gas but a liquid.
"Here goes nothing little guy" said Iruka as his hands touched Lomina's. "IT WORKED!" exclaimed Iruka as he quickly freed Lomina's Hand from the praying clutches of the cell's wall. Iruka smiled was the last thing he could do before he fell into a profound sleep, the bandage had turned purple...

Lonomia smiled, his mouth wide open. Someone could touch him, not to mention his now-throbbing fingers were free.
When Iruka fell, the boy gripped the side of his cage (careful only past the first knuckles), no longer afraid that his hair would bother the other. "Iruka?" he whispered, having heard others call the Chimera that, "Iruka...?" He pressed his face against the small holes, struggling to see what had happened to his new best friend.

((sorry, had a friend come over so I posted quickly. Sorry if it seems illogical. I'll go edit and say he stuck a surveilance tube down into there instead after stitching her back up.))
Devon coughed as he worked. Something smelled smokey and when he spotted 'Smoke' come over, he realized why. "So you're the new guy" he said as he checked Apsalar's stomach.

Sko's eyes widened at the sight of the two chimera, Iruka and Lonomia touching. She could see the exchange, sense it. This is what she was waiting for. This is what she needed. She could escape with them. But how could she convince them without getting caught? She smiled just a bit as she thought of her next big step. "Touch." She said, still smiling, waiting Lonomia to notice her.

((I have a friend over too biggrin We flew her in from Texas lol))
Smoke nodded. "Yani hired me a few days ago."
John came to suddenly, coughing and dry heaving. He knew that voice. The words in his mind woke him up, echoing in that same voice. "UP5... G77."
He opened his eyes and tensed immediately, but the restraints cut into his wrists and other limbs. He hadn't the strength to stay tense for long, and he sagged back against the table. His snake eyes shifted back to Smoke, clear lids shut closed to protect them from any smoke that followed him into the room.
"You b*****d."
Smoke looked at him for a moment, then put on his sunglasses. His eyes were hidden now, and his expression was, as always, unreadable. "You're experimenting on this one?" It was obvious why he was asking. John still wasn't cleaned up from either battles, and he didn't have even the strength to raise up his head.

Lonomia peered above at the girl, Sko. She was new. Maybe she could touch him too? "Touch," he said softly, poking his fingers through the top of the cage apprehensively. "No touch hair; kill, die." the whitecoats had the antidote for his venom, but there was no telling if they'd use it on any Chimera. Fingers still through the holes waiting for Sko, Lonomia looked at the unconscience Iruka. "Iruka?" he said alloud, a bit worried. "Iruka?"
((Sko will be fine touching Lon's fingertips; the only thing dangerous about him is the hair.))

((Ollie you are doing fine on the language. And I didn't know it was only three years for some reason I thought it was eight.))
Sko stared apprehensively at the fingers poking through her cage. He must be toxic through his hairs. She stroked the fingers like those of a child. She smiled slightly at the boy. "Iruka is fine, he is just sleeping. He is very tired." She said. She knew this was not true but it seemed essential to keep the boy calm. She patted her chest, "Sko. Me, Sko." She said to the boy.

((OOC: @Prince:Well, I mean, it's possible - it just depends on how much he's cutting open. >.> And...oh hell, it doesn't matter. We have half-animal people in here, I think we can let some minor medical inconsistencies slide.))
Apsalar's gaze was fixed on some point way above their heads. One would think that the most fascinating thing she'd ever seen was on the ceiling. When the worst of the pain had begun to subside, her mind had tentatively begun to slip out from behind its carefully constructed stronghold, ready to dodge back in there at the slightest provocation.
The first thing she found - after, of course, noting the tube in her throat - was that she could smell smoke. Her eyes, which had regained a bit of their liveliness, turned slowly towards the source of the scent.
Oh. New guy.
Come to watch the show, she figured. Damned if she'd give him one, though. She could take this. The flaring and dying down of the pain with each breath was becoming regular and foreseeable. Sort of comforting, even.
She was still smiling her crazy smile - the one that always came to her face when she was hurting - when John spoke up. Unconsciously, her fingers began to scratch against the metal again. Shut up, John, I'm keeping their attention on me for your sake, you idiot. Don't try and get them to pay attention to you.
Scritch, scritch, scritch.
Her amber eyes stared blandly into Smoke's sunglasses as she decided that the tube was irritating her and began to chew on it. With teeth as sharp as hers, it would take a very short time for her to chew right through - and probably, knowing her, end up trying to swallow it.
