Damn! Belle cursed in her mind as the little golden ball jerked violently to the left, curving farther away from her hand. She grit her teeth and grabbed a hold of her broom for support as she narrowed her body and tried to gain speed. She could the whistle of breaking wind behind her and guessed it had to have been Jazz.
She never dared to look back, however, as she inched just a little more closely to the edge of her broom and made another hasty attempt for the snitch.

 Daniel Kiremono~Slytherin First Year~Half-Blood Daniel was a bit startled by the sudden explosion of activity. He managed to shake it off, and moved to support his teammates. Amanda managed to steal the Quaffle from Peter, and he moved to steal it from her.  Peter Klein First Year-Slytherin-Single-Half Blood Peter had lost the quaffle, right when he was about to take a shot on goal. He looked as Amanda flew away, but right into a scuffle with Daniel, for who would take possession.Daniel really did come at a great time. "Let's go Daniel. Pass it out to Allister!" He knew it'd be best to reset the plan, since this time Daniel could be used as a fail safe. Poistion: Green Team Chaser AC:10 Special Skills: Good Arm, Hold the line, Great Catch Modifiers:+2 Score, +2 Block, +2 Catch Post:3/3 Lives Left: 2 OCC: I didn't think there was a posting order for Quidditch, which is why I didn't feel obligated to respond right away. Third Year, 𝔅eater
He wanted to smile, the moment his bat made contact with the bludger, he almost had, but it's no time for celebration. He barely noticed where it was that his ball had struck Peter, but, he still held the quaffle. Within the blink of an eye, Amanda snatched the quaffle, and just as quick it bounced back to the first year until Amanda swooped right around and grasped it again.
He blinked, barely able to focus on who had the ball while flying toward a rogue bludger as it skated with mayhem across the pitch. Dom grit his teeth, careful not to bite down on his tongue as he pulled back on the handle of his broom to come to a sudden stop. He readied himself to swing straight to Daniel.

Belle blinked. It slipped right out of her fingers! She gasped and nearly jumped for it, but at the last second, realization struck her and her fingers wove even tighter around the broom handle. Blonde hairs slapped at her features and played at her pale green eyes, she held her breath as she tried to focus on the tiny, glittering glean of gold that was running away from her with every second.
She had to catch it, she just had to. She cursed and prayed under her breath all at once as she leaned forward on her broom to gain more speed, and at the last second, her last chance, she saw it fake to the right and then dive to the left. Belle's fingers clawed at the open air to try and catch it before it was gone for good.

Captured in her petite fingers was the elusive little gold snitch, Belle giggled and grinned as she raised it high in the air, beaming with pride, before she hovered over beside her team captain, Ronyo. She paused to search for Jazz in the skies and waved her over, too. She had almost missed the little bugger, almost but her years of practice and keen eye had been just barely enough to catch it. But practice games were nothing like the real thing... In truth, she almost thought she lost her touch...
"Ronyo, hey, I got the snitch..!" She called as she reached his side. "Do you want us to go again? Or- maybe give Jazlyn a chance as chaser?"

Ronyo Storm - Slytherin
Seventh Year
Quidditch Pitch/ Slytherin Practice Ronyo smiled seeing Belle catch the snitch, she got better every year, now they just had to find a way to take her luck in practice and put it in for real games. The boy laughed a bit as he thought about the idea and looked at Jaz who had done well for her first attempt at chaser but with Belle leading out it was hard to keep up most likely. He wanted to see if she could keep up the hunt for longer, sometimes seekers could go for hours in the sky and she needed to be able to hold that endurance. “ Go again Belle, see how long she can last up there, and try and give the girl a chance this time,” His tone was all playful but still held the resolve he had learned as the team captain, “ Alright Silver team, kick things up a notch on them now, go to formations and play patterns, see how they react to sudden changes. I think they can handle it.” Without Ronyo up backing up Dom the lone Beater would not be able to work many combos they had practiced from last year but it would be good practice still for if…and likely when, Ronyo sighed to himself, he was knocked out of a game. He really wanted to go a game without falling off his broom but that was the life of a Beater, lots of bumps and bruises and being the player the other side hated. The position of Beater was a tough one to be sure and usually best played by those who were fighters at heart and good take a beating and keep on ticking.

Daniel Kiremono~Slytherin First Year~Half-Blood Daniel was focused on chasing Amanda, and didn't see the bludger. It crashed into his side, sending him spinning. Daniel recovered, winded and a bit disoriented. Pointing his broom back towards the chase down the field, he flew back towards the action. A blissful smile graced her lips as she nodded her head, taking this opportunity to retie her hair high up on her head to keep long blonde tresses from shielding her vision. Ronyo teased her, she could only laugh and offer the banter of a playful wink before she spun her broom around to face Jazlyn. The younger student had been silent the entire endeavor. She almost reminds me of myself, Belle thought with a blink. She didn't know too much about the girl though, other than from glances during feasts or in passing by of the common room.
When Jazz charged after the snitch, Belle was quick on her trail. She soared headstrong to the last place she saw that glittering trickster of a ball. Pale green eyes had darted left and right in vigil and used every ounce of her attention to focus on searching for it and the bludgers all at once.
