One day or another
Ashes glared at Sally when the other girl spoke to her. It looked like Sally was to be the receiving end of a very rare Ashes treatment - the cold shoulder. No doubt it would be a while before Ashes would talk to Sally, and even longer before she let Sally back in the range. Ashes was confused by Egan's set of orders, and immediately spoke out. "I don't need to lay down! I'm just fine!" She argued, only to be startled by Egan lifting her up bridal style. "I..." She attempted to say, feeling herself grow more and more dizzy by the second. She'd worn herself out, between the head injury and the wild goose chase.
And I want to be a part of that fire.
