"Alright, I think that's everything." Van said taking a seat on the bed next to a pile of everything he was bringing along.

"I think so too. Make sure you have that blade of yours as well." Mala said, braiding her hair so it wouldn't get in the way. "If it's looking dull, I can polish it for you if you like." After a moment Mala then purred almost jokingly, "I can 'polish' other things too if you'd like."

"You know I can't possibly turn down an offer like that." Van said with a playful smirk as he got up to help braid her hair, his own hair tied back as well. "I just realized, I'll have to come up with another name for the ol' Trouser God now." he said with a frown.

"I don't think you do. He certainly deserves the title." Mala said, grinning all the wider as she continued, "It's certainly got me praying for more every night."

((That's probably the best line they've ever had on the subject of sex. XDDD ))

"We might have to start magically reinforcing the beds we use. I don't think any bed is quite strong enough to match the bond." Van said with a smile.

"I wouldn't doubt it in the least. I think our bed's only lasted this long because of the runes I etched into it not too long ago." Mala replied with a chuckle.

"Last chance if you want to invite the kids along." Van said as he went to pull out their bag of holding. "Oh, and it just hit me that we are going to want someone around to help you give birth. Considering the shape you were in when you had Kai and Larai, I'm going to be rolling on the floor in pain the entire time."

"They can come along if they like, I don't mind either way." Mala said, turning to kiss Van lightly on the lips.

"The more the merrier." Van said with a smile. "And if anything does happen, Larai's the only one here that can heal." he said as he went over to start packing their bag.

((If you couldn't tell by now, I have no idea how to start the dagger twist. I am at a loss as to how to play TOM or how to introduce him. o_o;; ))

{One idea could be TOM making lewd comments about Mala or Larai's feminine endowments. Bonus points if it sounds disrespectful and is during the calmest moment of their traveling.}

"True. Everything should be fine, then." Mala said, excited to begin their travels anew. "Also...will we be returning home once this adventure is done?"

"That was the plan, last I checked. We're just going out to get my eternal life back." Van said, being lazy and pulling his belt off to attach his dagger to before putting it back on again.

"Good. I love it here. We've got too many great memories here to leave them all behind." Mala replied, going on to embrace her husband from behind before finishing up with what needed to be finished.

"It never really occurred to me, but I've got memories here too now." Van said with a smile. "Sure, you've got a few more than me, but now I get to actually say 'this is my home; this is where I watched my kids grow up'." he said turning his eyes upward with a look of pleasant nostalgia before slinging their bag over his shoulder.

Mala sighed a happy sigh, a small smile resting on her lips as she shared in with their memories. "They're our precious memories, all hiding in every corner and crevice of this beautiful house. I don't care how many people live near us, this place is the only place I could ever call home."
