Aside from his name, Jakob had not inquired about Rowyn's age either. Judging by his looks he assumed he was the same age as Kieran. Kieran was hardly that much older than himself. Still, he needed to behave. He didn't want to ruin this for Kieran. Reaching out, Jakob briefly shook the man's hand before taking it back. A hand brushed against him as Kieran stepped in front of him. His cheeks warmed and he smiled to himself as Kieran warned Rowyn.

Dropping his smile, Jakob peaked around his boyfriend to study the man. He was surprised that he caved to Kieran's demand so easily. However, he wasn't entirely sure he liked him. It felt too easy. Then again, maybe Jakob was just used to dealing with people that always expected a return on their involvement. It was easy to forget that some people were genuinely just nice and helpful. Glancing between the two, he could only hope that was the case.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Rowyn wasn't caving, he was buying time. He watched Kieran as he stepped between him and his plaything. Rowyn agreed for protection. "Thank you." Kieran replied as Rowyn agreed. Although he too knew it was too simple. Rowyn nodded, "Now then, my payment." He commented as he stepped into Kieran. Rowyn reached out grabbing Kirean by the shirt and kissed him against the lips in front of Miguel. He couldn't help but tease him more.

Standing behind Kieran, he watched the two come to an agreement. The relief he felt knowing someone would be here to watch Abel was short lived. Jakob watched as Rowyn mentioned something about a payment and stepped before Kieran. He then grabbed his boyfriend by the shirt and pulled him in for a kiss. Jakob wanted to push him off and smack him for even considering kissing Kieran. But if he did he feared he might ruin their only chance to get Abel the protection he deserved. His arms folded over his chest and he tried his best not to appear upset. He knew that Kieran had not planned on being kissed. However, he was finding it rather annoying that the man kept getting kissed by his exes.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kirean hadn't kissed anyone but Miguel. He wasn't the one who cheated in the relationship. A small kiss was a price to pay for the help Rowyn could provide. After a small kiss, he thought nothing of though couldn't deny he'd missed, Kieran pulled away. He stepped back as Rowyn released him. Kieran knew Miguel was likely angry and would question him but right now he didn't care.

"So anything else I need to know?... Are you staying at the house or do you need help in another place to stay?" Rowyn asked curiously within reason. Kieran wasn't bothered by the question. "Addy's here she's at the cafeteria, just a heads up…As for living arrangements, I don't know right now." He replied unsure if Miguel would still be open to them staying at the hotel. Kieran hardly thought he'd be accepting of them staying with Rowyn.

He had no right to be jealous. It wasn't even that much of a kiss. Still, he couldn't stop the annoyance he felt in watching Rowyn steal a kiss. Jakob did his best not to cause a scene. He reminded himself that he was an illegal alien in this country as well as a criminal. The man might turn a blind eye to Kieran's wrong doing, he doubted he would show Jakob the same curtesy. The moment between them soon passed and the two parted. Jakob stood idly by as they chatted. He wasn't so upset that he would leave Kieran to fend for himself. "It's fine," Jakob said, speaking up at last. "Kieran's staying with me." He looked up towards the male, hoping that he was okay with him speaking on his behalf. Kieran was free to do as he saw fit, but he wasn't so unreasonable to change his mind like that.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Of course it wasn't much of a kiss, Kieran couldn't exactly participate as he would have liked to. He saw the kiss as minimal, he didn't want to hurt Miguel more than he probably already was. Speaking with Rowyn, he was surprised Miguel spoke up. As he'd been ignoring the conversation for the most part. Kieran glanced toward Miguel then Rowyn. "Yes, thank you for the offer, but I'll keep it in mind for now." He replied knowing it was too early to tell how things would be.

Rowyn wasn't offended by Miguel's little intrusion. He rather expected it after their kiss. Rowyn was disappointed but it didn't matter. He nodded as Kieran spoke of Addy, he was hardly thrilled but expected it. Rowyn though had offered Kieran his place if needed but watched as Miguel came to his rescue. He nodded, "But of course, Mon petit. Well I'll go make some phone calls and check on Addy…Nice seeing you again Kirean, call if you need anything…Ciao." Rowyn replied as he waved heading out the door in search of the cafeteria.

Although he did not like to watch his boyfriend getting kissed by someone else, he knew that he had no right to object. As they soon parted, Rowyn inquired about Kieran's currently living arrangements. Jakob couldn't help injecting himself into the conversation at this point. He wasn't so heartless as to rip his offer away from Kieran for something he did not plan on. Peering over at the male, they shared a brief moment before Kieran confirmed that all was well.

Jakob studied Rowyn as he seemed to consider both their words. As far as he could tell he was not offended by their words. Though he was still curious had Kieran accepted his offer what he may have had in store for him. He could only imagine he would want more than the simple peck of a kiss. He also imagined had he not been here at all, what Kieran might have done to insure Abel's safety. It was a thought he did not allow himself to linger on for too long as it would only upset him and likely cause Kieran to worry. Meeting Rowyn's gaze one last time, Jakob nodded politely towards the man as he made his final remarks before departing them both. When he was gone, he turned towards Kieran and slipped his arms around waist as he sighed, burying his face into his chest.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kieran hadn't cheated on Miguel but he wasn't about to use his body to get what he wanted either. He watched as Rowyn left to find Addy. Kieran returned his attention towards Miguel. He watched as Miguel came toward him and wrapped his arms around his waist. Kieran shifted, allowing Miguel to settle against him. He felt Miguel bury himself against him. Kieran held onto Miguel as he sighed softly himself. "I'm sorry." He replied knowing he had hurt Miguel by ignoring him and focusing on Rowyn instead.

With Rowyn out of the room, it was quiet once more save for the hum of machines. Jakob turned toward Kieran and held to him. Above him he heard Kieran sigh and felt his arms wrap around him. He shook his head while Kieran apologized. He did nothing wrong, so was no need. Besides it wasn't as though he was trying that hard to be apart of the conversation. Pulling his head back slightly, he rested his chin against Kieran's chest. "It's fine...how could you know he'd do something like that." he said softly. Jakob knew he had no room to complain. Not when Kieran had tolerated him kissing Abel. He couldn't make Kieran be loyal to just him when he wasn't showing the same curtesy. Sighing, Jakob smiled softly up at the man. "At least you were able to get someone to watch over Abel. Addy should be happy."

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kirean didn't blame Miguel for cheating on him. He hadn't expected it but it seemed Miguel was open to anything. Kirean knew kissing Rowyn wasn't expected of the situation but he knew it could happen. He apologized to Miguel as he held onto him. Kirean felt Miguel shift as he looked up at him. He listened as he spoke and soon shook his head. Kieran listened as Miguel spoke some more. He nodded, "Yeah, there's that." Kirean replied, wondering if they should leave before Addy returned with Rowyn. He didn't want to listen to her complain some more.

He wouldn't exactly say anything, but yes he did consider himself a bit more open than some. However, his cheating didn't excuse the fact that he had hurt Kieran in the process. So he didn't see much room to complain about one little kiss, whether it be from Addy, Rowyn, or hell even Abel himself if he were to wake up and chose to do so. That one he might find a bit of humor in rather than annoyance or jealousy. As Jakob continued to cling to Kieran, he he watched him nod and agree to his words. He too was wondering if they called it a day. Abel wasn't going to wake up just because they sat around him all day. Pulling back a little, Jakob sighed softly. "So, did you want to stick around any longer? Wait for Addy or if Rowyn comes back?" he asked curiously. Jakob wasn't in such a rush that they needed to leave right this second. But if Kieran was ready, that was fine too.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kieran was normally open. However being with Miguel he didn't allow himself. He wanted to be faithful to Miguel. However it was made aware that Miguel would never do the same for him. Kieran could have slept with another person but he cared about hurting the other. He wondered what Miguel would do if he had cheated on him with another person. Kieran wasn't open to the idea of finding out but it did leave him curious. Holding onto Miguel, he felt him pull back. Kieran looked down at him, listening as he spoke. He shook his head, "No, Abel is safe and I don't want to deal with Addy once she realizes Rowyn is here. " Kieran pulled back, releasing Miguel. He moved to take his hand and started out of the hospital room.

The idea of being cheated on by Kieran was one he had to try too hard to imagine. Even though it never happened, there was that brief moment that he truly believed that Kieran had cheated on him with Addy after one of their fights. It was that same fight that led to Kieran finding out that himself had cheated with Abel. Pulling away, Jakob wondered if Kieran was ready to leave or wanted to stay. He didn't mind sticking around a little longer if that was what he wanted. He wasn't about to rush him out of the hospital. Jakob watched Kieran shake his head and assure him that they could leave. He looked up at him curiously. "Does Addy just make it a habit to hate everyone you date?" he asked, smirking. Jakob allowed Kieran to take his hand and offered Abel one last glance. He could only the man wouldn't stay under for too much longer. The people who cared about him most will worry if he does. Jakob followed Kieran out of the room and down the hall back to the elevators. "Have you eaten today?" he asked.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • If Kieran was going to cheat, it wouldn't have been with Addy. He thought of her as nothing more than a sister. At one time, they had been lovers but it was purely sexual. It had been years ago when he was still understanding his sexuality. Kieran having sex when men even though having sex with a women would be easier. He listened as Miguel teased him about Addy. Kieran shrugged his shoulders. "Who knows…I'm not in the mood to find out." He replied as he wasn't really sure how Addy felt about Rowyn or vice versa. Kieran continued down the hallway with Miguel toward the elevators. He soon heard him question him again. Kirean shook his head, "No…I haven't, did you have something in mind?" He asked pushing the down button on the elevator as they arrived at it.

In truth, he didn't want to know what sort of person Kieran would cheat on him with. He was better off remaining ignorant. He knew that whatever relationship Kieran once had with Addy was now in the past, however, he couldn't stop himself from feeling jealous of her. She knew Kieran better than him and was more than eager to flaunt it, as though knowing him longer somehow made her more superior to him. As Jakob teased Kieran, he watched him shrug before speaking. He nodded quietly and continued to follow him out of the room. Together they made their way down the hallway to the elevators they'd used earlier. While waiting, Jakob questioned the man again. He worried that if he didn't ask then Kieran might be neglecting his own needs. Once more the man shook his head and questioned him in return. "I only had some light stuff from the continental breakfast this morning." he admitted. "We could do some kind of take-out if you don't feel like waiting around. Maybe a pizza or fast food." Jakob wasn't exactly starving, but it was getting closer to lunch and he knew he ought to have something. If Kieran hadn't bothered with breakfast, he would need something too. Jakob didn't mind them finding a dinner or some chain to have a meal. Though the idea of just grabbing something to eat and going back to his hotel was also tempting. They could snuggle up, talk about their woes, and drown it all in greasy take-out and bad daytime television.
