⋮ ۩ ) • • • Honestly, Kirean couldn't remember what he last ate or when. He had gotten too wrapped up in Abel's situation, he'd forgotten about himself. Kieran knew that food and rest was probably needed. He listened while waiting as Miguel responded.

As the doors opened, he waited as two hospital staff in uniforms exited. Kieran entered the elevator with Miguel. He pressed the lobby button and watched as the doors closed. Kieran glanced toward Miguel, "What about Chinese?" He asked not really wanting pizza or a sit down restaurant. Kirean too agreed on eating and just chilling for now.

Jakob was patient as he waited for an answer. In front of them the elevator doors slid open and two staff members came out. He stood beside Kieran as they allowed them to pass before entering the elevator themselves. Standing beside the male, he looked towards him as he made a suggestion of his own. Jakob smiled. "Chinese sounds good. What should we get?" he replied. It had been awhile since Jakob had Chinese food. It sounded like the perfect comfort food.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Standing in the elevator, he felt it dropping down to the lobby. He thought about what he wanted. Chinese food was something he enjoyed but hadn't eaten in a while. Kirean offered it up as an option. It seemed Miguel was open to the idea. He smiled as Miguel questioned him. "Hmm, I was thinking of getting some sesame chicken, chow mein, white rice and some egg rolls." Kirean replied knowing it seemed like a lot of food but he hadn't realized till now how hungry he was.

Standing beside the male, the lift slowly lowered them down to the lobby. He smiled up at Kieran as he inquired what they might get. Jakob stood quietly while the male thought a moment before giving him his answer. He listed off a couple of different foods, all of them sounding really good. His mouth watered at the thought. "Yes. Yes to all of that. Could we maybe get a small fried rice too? Oh and some spicy general's chicken." he replied. Jakob wasn't concerned if it was too much. His room had a small fridge that they store the leftovers in. Assuming Kieran would be spending the night with him, they could pick at them as they pleased. The lift continued on down and soon opened at the lobby. Stepping out of the elevator, he followed Kieran back through the halls leading towards the exit.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Offering up a few dishes himself, he listened as Miguel seemed to agree. Kieran didn't mind if Miguel wanted to get more. After all they both had different choices in food. He nodded as Miguel spoke. "Sure, of course…Whatever you want." Kieran replied as they arrived at the lobby. He waited as the doors opened and followed Miguel off the elevator. Kieran walked with him through the hallway and back across the crossway to the parking garage. It didn't take long to get to his car. He pulled his keys from the pocket and unlocked the car with the key fob. Kieran released Miguel's hand as he walked towards the driver side and opened the door. He slipped inside, shutting the door and starting the car while he buckled in.

Talking about the food they were going to get, Jakob couldn't help offering up a few choices of his own. While he did not necessarily hate what Kieran had chosen, they weren't exactly his favorites either. He smiled at Kieran as he nodded and allowed him whatever he liked. He knew better than to get to being spoiled like this, but he was happy nonetheless. As they soon reached the lobby, Jakob stepped out and followed Kieran down to the exit. His eyes squinted slightly against the warm sunlight as they stepped out into the parking lot. Jakob continued to follow him down to the car before letting go of his hand and moving towards the passenger side. Once the doors were unlocked, Jakob slipped into his seat and shut the door behind him. "So, do you know anywhere we want to could order from? I could call it in ahead if you like." he asked as he went about buckling his seat belt and getting comfy. Jakob didn't really have a favorite restaurant, most places he went were pretty tasty. Besides, even if he did, those places would be nowhere near where he was currently residing. He did not think that Kieran would want to eat something lukewarm or possibly even cold. So he thought it might be best to just order from a place closer to his hotel.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kirean wasn't sure where Miguel was staying exactly. After all, he hadn't been given the information yet. He finished getting in the car and turned it on while Miguel joined him. Kirean shrugged as Miguel questioned him. "Well there's a Chinese food place I usually go to by the house but I don't think that will work since I don't think your hotel is close by." He replied, not sure where he was driving in the first place.

As he fastened his seatbelt Jakob questioned the male. He wasn't sure if Kieran was at all familiar with the area he was staying in. He seemed to know many places in the city thanks to Abel, but he couldn't count on him to have the entire area memorized. That would just be ludicrous. Beside him, Kieran turned on the car and buckled up as well. Jakob nodded quietly as the man spoke. It made sense. "Yeah, same. Every place I can think of was either in walking distance or just a short cab ride away." he replied. Pulling his phone from his pocket Jakob brought up Google Maps and typed in the name of the hotel he was staying in. When he found the correct location, he turned the device to Kieran. "Alright, well, this is where I'm staying. I don't suppose you're at familiar with this area, are you?" he asked. It wouldn't be surprising if Kieran was unfamiliar with it. He'd chosen an area that was completely out of the way and what he believed would have been the last place Cornelius or his spies would look for him. So he wasn't about to expect him to even know just where his hotel was.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Indeed Kieran didn't know where everything was. He nodded as Miguel responded. Kirean waited as Miguel played with his phone, soon opening a map. He looked over the map, seeing the hotel and its surroundings. "Yeah, I've been over there.. It's about an hour or so drive…There's a restaurant I've been to close to it." Kieran replied as he moved to reverse out of the parking spot. He started through the parking garage and toward the exit.

Pulling out his phone, Jakob looked up the location of his hotel on the off chance that Kieran might be familiar with the area. He didn't expect him to. Worse case scenario they could just search for restaurants near his hotel. Sure it was a bit of a pain but still doable. Jakob turned his phone to Kieran and waited as the male looked over the map. It wasn't long before Kieran informed him that he was indeed familiar with the area. It was a bit of a drive, it had been even longer coming by both cab and train. He didn't mind the wait. Jakob settled back in his seat as Kieran put the car in reverse and steered them out of the parking garage. Taking back his phone, Jakob closed out the app and tucked it away in his pocket.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Pulling out of the garage, Kirean started down the street. They drove in silence for a while which was nothing new to him. He was used to their silence. It wasn't as if Kirean had much to say. He didn't think Miguel had much to talk about either. Kirean continued down the road, he knew it would be a while before they got to the restaurant. He wasn't in a rush as he drove either.

Heading down the street they sat in silence. Jakob was used to the quiet. He didn't think Kieran wanted to talk right this moment and he didn't really have much to say either. And the things that did come to mind, he wasn't sure that Kieran would want to talk about them while he was driving. He figured it was best to save that for later. Sighing softly, Jakob reached forward and fiddled with the radio a little. He flipped through the various stations before settling on one of those top 40 stations, keeping the volume low as a song he didn't recognize played. When he was done, he adjusted in the seat so that he might lean a little against Kieran.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • While he drove, he glanced toward Miguel as he fidgeted beside him. Kieran soon heard the radio turn on low as Miguel turned it on. He wasn't bothered by the silence but knew Miguel probably was. Kieran felt Miguel continue to shift beside him as he soon settled against him. He reached out towards Miguel's thigh as he rested his hand against him. Kieran continued driving as they sat there.

After fiddling with the radio a little, Jakob made himself comfortable once more and leaned against Kieran. He relaxed beside the male as Kieran slipped his hand over his thigh. Reaching down Jakob covered the males hand with his own. He returned his gaze to the road before them and watched the city pass as they continued on their way.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Reaching down, he covered Miguel's thigh with his hand. Kieran soon felt Miguel slip his hand over his own. He knew the drive would still be a while. The silence however was draining. Kieran glanced toward Miguel. "Penny for your thoughts?" He asked curiously, knowing Miguel probably had something on his mind but just didn't know how to talk about it or want to.
