"Alright, here's hoping we get back before you're due." Van said locking the door behind him once they were all outside.

{It's fine. I think I got the virus from DeviantArt, so that's why I'm holding out on it until I get antivirus. I do not have one now, but I'm soley restricting myself to youtube, gaia, and photobucket most of the time.}

Mala nodded in agreement. "Yes, let's get this quest done as quickly as possible."

"Wait. Did you remember the map?" Van asked, stopping suddenly. That seemed to be a reoccurring issue during their past adventures, never remembering to buy a map.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Van, it's been over a thousand years since we've travelled far from our home. We can buy one over in Jaquel's domain, should it still be standing." Mala replied, knowing very well that most of the maps she had might as well be useless.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Just teasing~" Van said starting to walk again off towards the town, making sure they didn't go any farther without some sense of where they were going.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala walked along side Van, saying nothing further for the moment. As they walked she kept hold of his free hand, hiding her newfound worries of leaving home after so long.

"I wonder how Jaquel and Ariae have been?" Van mused as they headed for town.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Me too. I hope everything's gone well for them." Mala said as she walked alongside Van.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"With the world turning its back on magic, I hope he hasn't had to give up his wings." Kai said with a frown.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Remember, this is only the human realm. There's probably plenty of places that still practice magic. Just not here, since it's a magicless wasteland." Mala replied to Kai after a moment of thought.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Who knows? Maybe the town hasn't totally given up the ghost just yet, what with their mayor being an angel and all. Hard to say no to magic like that." Van pointed out.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Maybe." Mala said, smiling slightly to herself at the thought. "We'll have to see when we get there."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Oo, I hope they kept our statue." Van said. With the gods essentially gone, a single town that he helped save a thousand years ago was about all he had left.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"You know, it'd be pretty funny if they did." Mala replied with a soft chuckle.

{So...should it be a ghost town or a den of sin?}
