Meanwhile, the keepers seem very much bored. Chase came up with anything a chaser would: Grab an extra quaffle and throw it at the nearest keeper, which happened to be Rick. Grabbing one of the balls, the vice-captain bolted for the hoops, then threw it at one of the three hoops when he got close enough.

Ver smirked in victory as her first shot slammed into Shina. She giggled as the girl congratulated her and nodded her head at the prefect in thanks. She scanned the rest of the scene and noticed Chase shooting a quaffle and so right as Rick caught said shot, Ver swung back her bat, and aimed a bludger straight at Chase, knowing he wasn't paying attention to her since he was paying attention to his shot.

Catching the quaffle, he took a quick glance around the field, taking note of what each player was doing. Then, smiling at Rick, the teen nodded, flying in circles around the hoops. Once Chase determined he was at high enough speed, dove in and threw the quaffle at one of the rings.
