Jance, being a bit more wary of the man's intent than his halfling comrade, moves toward the could-be adversary quietly still, awaiting an aggressive move before making one of his own and escalading the situation more than it has to be.

[OOC] In other words, I move silently into the man's square, and I'd like to arrange it so I'm on the other side of him -- if it's within my range moving silently at half speed, but if I cannot make it around to the other side in one move round moving slowly I'll do it at full speed and take the -5 to move silently, and I'm readying a standard action to attack at the sign of an aggressive move (pulling a weapon, attacking, etc.).[/OOC]

Amari reached where the man was and finally got a look at his wounds. "Wow... what happend to you?" His voice was clearly shaken. Amari wasnt fully ready to see something like this, but here it was right in front of him.

Erverain - Your charactor wakes up later then everyone else, to the sound of the people moving around in the cabin, your eyes are having trouble adjusting because someone turned on a light. ((Don't bother with the spot check.)) It's a few moments until you are again able to see, but you are able to discern the room and a few people standing in the flickering of a lamp light, around a bed.

To those who were dealing with the man - A light is finally obtained and a few lanterns are lit, one of which is held over the man now lyeing on the bed. He was horribly wounded, blood, dried and wet covered nearly every visable part of him. He didn't struggle as the bandaged were applied to him, but instead just yelled "Where am I, damn you!? Is this a bunker!? And you're all privates!? Fetch me an officer, I've riden her with a message! Go!" He pointed to the first person who was in sight, Amari.

Shadow - One of the men who had the sense to get out a lamp turned and said "I dunno, apprently this guy here just sort of wandered into teh building..."

Learning that the man was a supposedly friendly messenger, Jance relaxed himself a bit and stood up straight, allowing his presence to be known. He still kept his eyes trained on the man, though, still distrustful of the newcomer. "Even a newcomer to the camp," he thought, "should know a bunker from an officer's quarters. Especially one sent on a mission to bring a message. However," he parried his own thoughts, "his wounds could have clouded his judgement."

Acquiescing to the fact that the wounds might have rid the man of mental clarity, he did not treat the man with anything more than a slight, paranoid caution. Even if he was brought up in a monastic academy, the city that surrounded it had taught him never to fully trust anyone without a strict and lengthy evaluation of intentions.
