Aaron smiled at Fiona," I´ll go with you, we can see if theres an openfirld or something along the way. You know, a place where we can set up a sort of base camp¨" He shruged, smiled and waited. Fiona was nice enough, he remided her of an old friend. "My home was to close to the theatre to be of any use, I´m sure it´s toast."

"Yeah, I'm fine,"Dru said softly,"I expected them to disappear soon anyway." Dru gave a small laugh when she said that. Then her face took on a serious tone.
"I just dont know what I wouldve done if I'd lost you,"Dru said softly,"I know this is a bit strange to say considering that I've known you only about three days, but I really mean it." Dru forced a brave smile and hugged Griffin a little closer to her.

Fiona heard Aaron's reply quite fast, amazed someone volunteered. "I'm sorry to hear that," She replied to his last comment. I'm afraid that my home is most likely destroyed as well, but only the house. Our house never was the strongest built, but the cellar was a big part of our lives, so we kept it as strong as we could afford." She looked at Jeeves and John, suddenly, calm and relaxed. She knew they were older than her- a number of the people here were. She knew that they were also as nervous as anyone else would be. At least, that was a guess she was willing to rely on.
"I promise, the walk won't seem too far..." She looked around a bit. "The walk may sound far, since it's over a mile, but it is usually a very calm walk. It's good for you- it helps you get your thoughts out while you get something good done." Her gentle smile gave way and showed just how strongly her mind wanted to fix the thought in her own head. Her claim seemed to be exact, but her heart could agree with it no more than anyone else could.

"A mile isen´t that long and I´m sure if we talk time will fly," he smiled to reassure her that things would be alright. He was always opptimistic, he never saw the point in picturing the worst. He turned to the others," Perhaps another group can find a park or more stable area for us to reside at for the time?" He was just putting th idea out there," Only a sugestion, ready to go Fiona?" He smiled and offered here his arm for the walk.

Fiona nodded, amazed at how optimistic Aaron was able to be in the situation. "I'm ready." She put her hands together, her head cocked to a shoulder as she smiled weakly, showing the unwanted fear that she'd rather have been able to hide. Her brother always said fear was fine, but it was one of the few things he said she argued with. Fear torchered her, making her heart burn and her stomach twist at its very though. She ignored the feeling for the time and looked to the way there. "I'm glad I remembered my key today..." She really was glad. If she didn't remember her key, they'd have one less possibility, unless someone could break into the cellar for her due to her weakness against the strong doors.

Aaron tucked her arm into his and held her close," Don´t be scared, I´ll keep you safe...though I doubt many people survived outside of here. I mean for us to be unharmed we must be near the center of the blast....or damn lucky." He smiled and led Fiona to the door," Ok everyone, well be back A.S.A.P., just leave a note if you move to a new location. Stay safe!" With one last smile he headed out the door with Fiona," Glad I met you earlier, at least now I know somone."

"You'll know more people in time... Luckily I know my way home." She smiled, feeling a bit more comfortable. She continued using her muscle memory to find the house. "We're getting really close to the cellar now..." She said when they got to the point where it would only be a mile left. "It's going to feel wierd when we get there... I know that for sure."

Lee and Eileen did end up going together - along with Anicia for first aid support. During the time they were gone, John supervised the deconstruction and reconstruction of Theater 5. Most of the seats in the front row were converted into usable materials by the time Lee and the girls returned. They returned with the communication devices, and a newfound respect of the destruction the bomb had caused. A nuke, they said. The cloud still lingered in the sky, some ways off. The town was not the target, but was destroyed anyhow.
John, Jeeves, Fiona, Aaron, and Anicia (again acting as a first-aider) went to look for supplies and possibly survivors, although with the whole town reduced to little more than cinders and empty shells, the possiblity seemed very slim. Indeed, they found no one (alive) while they gathered what supplies they could carry.
Upon that group's return, Theater 5 was nearly completely turned into a habitable space. Most of the rows of chairs still remained, but with the amount of materials they had gained from the few rows they had gone through, there was a renewed sense of hope. They just might be able to make it.
Until what or when was the problem.
Blankets, food, tents, medical supplies and other such things stopped being in short supply by the second day, and by the fifth, the theater was completely free of chairs, and a project was underway to construct some platforms off of the higher rows for more space.

(( I'll give the new section a kick off))
Aaron sat with his back against the wall, his body was emotionally and physically drained after the past few days. I'm not ment for this kind of work, who would have thought things could go so wrong so fast he thought as he slowly got to his feet. He knew however he had to keep smiling, if it was all he could do it would be something Well I hope what they say is true, smile and the world smiles with you. The thing that hurt Aaron the most was not the loss of his family whom had never cared for him anyway but for the outside world which he loved. He found himself dreaming at night about being outside in that tree again only to have the event happen and the try burt to ashes, his on skin eaten off by this plague of mankind, if it was infact the workings of mankind. He ahd heard of mans inhumanity to man but never truely witnessed it Could this be it he thought as he made his way over to where had had left off on work the other day. When the others woke up he would have help. For now he swept up pathways so there was othing for people to trip over. The tools they had found in the theatres janatorial closests had made things easier to do but they were still only kids and still only had so much knowldge. They were inventing processes for building as they went and seeing how you had to do things to make structures safe. Theatre 5 may be all they had in terms of home but the group seemed to becoming more like a family everyday, Aaron just hoped they wouldent become like his blood family.

Griffin James Bryant wiped the sweat off his brow and scanned the newly stripped Theatre 5 for Dru. The past few days of labor, added to the lack of satisfactory sleep, had completely drained him, and now, all he wanted to do was sit down in his tent and talk awhile with Dru. If only he could find her. He stood up from his present task of brushing oatmeal bar crumbs out of his tent and walked towards the door. As Dru was the only one who could calm his nerves, he looked for her and only her. As he searched, he glanced around at the rest of the group that he had yet to acquaint himself with. They all had worked so hard, despite their losses, and he had lost nothing. He had regained a cell signal just long enough to call his mom before his battery died. His charger was in his now incinerated Nissan 350 Z. She had answered the call in a typical "I really wish you weren't calling me right now." sort of manner with the lilt of pseudo-happiness in her voice. "Hey Mom!" he had shouted desperately, hurrying to explain before his cell phone died. "What? What's that yelling for, mister?" she had snapped back. "Mom there's been a terrible catastrophy! Where are you?!" "You're breaking up, dear. Say again?" she continued in a very uncaring tone. "Mom! Mom, listen!" Beep beep! Went his cell phone. "Damn it!" he cursed as he frantically checked the screen and found it blank. "Damn it all!" That had been two days ago. Dru had come up behind him, put her arms around him and effortlessly succeeded in calming him down. She really was quite good at it. He knew, in the back of his mind, that his mom hadn't listened or cared. She could be anywhere doing anything, though her usual trips were to Vegas or L.A. The thought still circled his brain like an angry hornet. She hadn't cared. She hadn't listened. He could be dead in the next few days...hours... and she hadn't listened.

Anicia sighed as she wound up a length of gauze bandages around her hand, laying it in the plastic box she'd taken from one of the stores they'd raided. As long as no one got horribly sick, they should be alright till help arrived--she was sure that someone would come to look for survivors before too long. Her temprament had mellowed considerably over the last few days, and her appearance had changed as well--most noticable was the fact that she'd hacked off most of her hair for whatever reason.
She grabbed a bent cigarette and a lighter from her pocket and headed toward the door. Anyone who looked closely would probably notice that her hands were shaking as one of them came up to pinch the bridge of her nose.

((I just want to let everyone know that I'm going to be gone for the next week. I've updated the main page (wait, what? madness!) so no one's left in the dark. I hope. At any rate, I'm not going to lock the RP proverbially or otherwise, but the storyline is on hold until I get back. I'm super sorry for the inconvience, but that's the way it's going to be. sweatdrop Happy Fourth!))
