Rhydian jumped onto his broom and lurched into the sky, taking position on Cadence's left during the toss-up. She beelined for the quaffle but Hamid came away with it in the end. Cady flew in fast for a steal, won, and turned around for the goal posts. Rhydian flew in beside her to help shake away the other chasers and be ready for a pass if necessary.

London cackled when Jack tried to get him with the old "say what" trick. They weren't little kids anymore, so he'd have to step up his game. "Not in this lifetime, pal." He was about to continue, but Zach grabbed Jack's attention... and someone else spoke to him. London looked over at Anasofia as she asked if he was ready to face her. Pft. "Face you? Last time I checked I was the one on the starting lines." He was not about to let some snarky girl steal his thunder. He'd worked hard for his spot. And honestly, he was hoping to land the now open Vice Captain spot.
It wasn't until Zach started up his speech that Londy let the excitement deflate. Jack got the VC spot? On the one hand, he was super proud of his cousin. Jack was really good at quidditch. But on the other hand, Londy had thought he was perhaps just a bit better. Damn it. Now he'd have to put in the extra oomph to prove he belonged on the team. A small frown settled on his lips, but he listened to the team breakdown. Oh cool. He'd be going against little Kendall as Beater, so it wouldn't be too hard at all. She was only like 12 anyway.
He took to the air once he'd found out where he was, a bit annoyed that he couldn't take aim at Jack, but he figured he'd get over it. He took to the air, glancing around for a good target. Hamid seemed to be pestering Cady's ability to keep hold of the quaffle... so there. Londy flew over to one of the nearby bludgers and took aim, hoping to knock him down a peg... or at least dissuade him from trying to steal again.

spaceKendall was hoping that focusing on Quidditch would help keep her head clear. She was, unfortunately, up against Londy, who was much more experienced than she was. But she was determined not to let that get her down. When he went for Hamid, she swooped in, hoping to save her teammate and maybe hit the other beater.

The girl made a face at London when he made the snide comment and was about to retort when Zach spoke up. Then he said she was playing Keeper for the tryouts. Ana made another face, but he was the captain. She wanted a chance to shut London up, just her mam made her miss tryouts for a couple years. She huffed and picked up her broom, then moved to the boring position of keeper. Sitting on her broom, she lazily watched the chasers start fighting over the quaffle, just waiting and hoping that she'd get a shot at the position she actually wanted.

Before Hamid could go far, Cadence snatched the quaffle from him and gritting his teeth, he tried to go after her only to have a bludger slam into his shoulder. His shoulder exploded with pain and Hamid bit back a sharp cry as he tried to keep his balance on the broom. Still, he wouldn't let the bludger stop him, so despite his shoulder still throbbing in pain, he chased after Cadence and tried to grab the quaffle using his good hand.

London smirked when his first hit landed successfully. Little Kendall hadn't been able to stop him, which was good. He looked around for the next target, before settling on Ana. She'd been awfully cocky earlier, plus Cady was almost at the goals. Perfect. He flew to a bludger and took aim, hoping to deal some damage.

Chelsea wasn't having a good start to finding a the snitch. Scanning the field she wasn't sure where the bloody thing was. Looking around she hoped to spot the thing soon. If she couldn't find it in tryouts what made her think she could find it during a game. This was a tough one for sure no matter when she was playing.

Ana didn't like playing keeper. It was pretty boring if there was a good chaser battle going on. Finally she saw Cady break away and come towards her. At least she got some action. When the chaser took her shot, Ana made an attempt to block it.
