⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kirean wasn't bothered by the thought of Miguel not having any refreshments to offer. He didn't mind going to get them either. It was the least he could do. Kirean questioned Miguel, listening as he responded. He wasn't bothered by Miguel's demands as they are hardly such. Kirean shook his head, "I don't mind…I'll be right back." He replied as he moved to get off the bed. Kirean started toward the door, he didn't bother with shoes as he opened the door.

Flipping the top lock on the door, he left the door cracked as he went down the hallway. Kirean made his way back toward the elevators to find the vending machines. He pulled his wallet from his pocket as he fished out a few dollars. Kirean fed them into the machine and choose coke for the both of them. He reached down and grabbed the sodas from the bottom of the machine.

Kirean took the sodas and walked back to the hotel room. He pushed open the door and moved to push the top lock back open as he shut the door. Kieran walked back to the bed and set the sodas on the bed. He moved to get back on the bed as he sat beside Miguel.

It hadn't even dawned on him until after sorting out their food that they might want something to drink. He was a little embarrassed for being so careless, however, Kieran didn't seem to mind at all. He smiled shyly as the male again offered to get them something. He nodded as he rose from the bed and watched him move towards the door. A moment later Kieran slipped back out into the hall. When he was gone, Jakob reached over towards the bedside table to pick up the remote. He turned on the television and started flipping through the various channels. Talk shows, court shows, reruns, soap operas, and the afternoon news were really all he could find. He wasn't really looking for anything in particular. He simply thought the background noise might be nice until one of them deemed it time for them to have their chat.

Jakob went through the channels two more times before settling on some medical drama he wasn't entirely familiar with. Lowering the volume he then set the remote aside and picked up one of the packs of utensils. He was just pulling out the plastic fork when Kieran came back with two sodas in hand. He smiled towards Kieran as he climbed into bed to sit beside him and handed him his drink. "Thank you." he said, leaning over to kiss the males cheek. Pulling back, Jakob handed him the other set of utensils before moving one of the boxes closer to him. Flipping back the top, he was surprised by the amount of chicken in the box. The place they had chosen certainly didn't skimp on their customers. It was refreshing really and the food smell fantastic. Jakob plucked one of the pieces of chicken with his fork and brought it to his mouth. He smiled at the taste of his general's chicken. It was a little sweet with just the right amount of spice. Plucking up another piece, he turned to Kieran. "Here, you gotta try this." he said holding his fork and cupped hand out to him.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Returning back to the bed, he glanced to see Miguel had chosen some random medical drama to watch. He wasn't bothered by it as he turned his attention to the food splayed out before them. Kirean nodded as Miguel spoke, feeling him kiss his cheeks. He took the extra utensils and opened them. Kirean reached for his chow mein as he pulled the box closer. He took a small scoop of noodles carefully as he took them in his mouth. His eyes watched the television with feigned interest. Kirean glanced at Miguel as he was soon offered some of his chicken. He opened his mouth, leaning forward and taking the chicken in his mouth off the fork. Kirean chewed on it, tasting the spices ranging from sweet to spicy. He wasn't much of a fan of general tso's chicken, he could taste the hoisin in it. Kirean nodded slightly,"Good." He replied not to keen on it but being polite. Kirean returned to eating his chow mein as he moved onto grabbing some of his sesame chicken.

Jakob didn't mind if Kieran wanted to change the channel. It wasn't as though he was paying that close attention to what he chose. He simply thought it would make for decent background noise while they ate. After thanking the male, Jakob brought his general's chicken closer and started to eat. Intrigued by the taste, he held out an offering towards Kieran. He waited for the male to lean over and take the chicken from his fork. Jakob smiled as the male nodded in agreement. Taking back his fork, Jakob continued to eat his lunch, pulling the box of rice closer to him and scooping up a large portion. He glanced over towards the television, chewing his food while he watched. Jakob licked his lips as he soon reached for the soda next to him, popping the tab, and taking a sip.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kirean wasn't one for watching television at times. He watched it but mostly for noise. Kirean preferred reading as a pastime. He was polite about Miguel offering him food though didn't really like it. Kirean didn't say as he merely went back to eating his own food. He watched the television show as it played. Kirean didn't even know but it provided background noise while they ate. He munched on his chicken enjoying the taste.. Kirean hadn't realized how hungry he was. He had ordered a few more appetizers as well. Kieran grabbed an unopened box looking for egg rolls. He soon found them as he grabbed one taking a bite. Kirean liked the egg rolls, they were different from most Chinese restaurants. The cook used Chinese 5 spice, which tasted of cinnamon, star anise, cloves, fennel seed and pepper.

Taking back his fork, Jakob continued to eat while being none the wiser to Kieran's dislike for his offering. He didn't mind their near silence while they ate. He thought it best to save any sort of conversation for after their meal. Glancing over towards his boyfriend, he watched him a moment as he gobbled down his food like it might be taken away at any given moment. Turning his attention back to the screen, he sipped his soda and reached for his own box. Pulling the plastic spoon from the pack beside him, he scooped up large bite of rice and meat. Seeing a bit of motion from the corner of his eye, he glanced again to see Kieran pulling out one of the egg rolls. "How is it?" he asked through a mouthful of rice. From the look and smell of them, they seemed like they might be tasty enough. But he was curious to know what Kieran thought of everything. Jakob continued to eat quietly while awaiting the males answer.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • The need to talk wasn't interesting to him. He knew they needed to but at the moment he was tired of talking. Kirean merely wanted to eat, shower and relax. He hadn't realized how fast he was eating. Kirean was merely hungry and couldn't remember when he last ate or what he ate. Feeling Miguel watch him while he ate his egg roll, he glanced, hearing him speak. Kirean turned, offering Miguel a bite of his egg roll.

Jakob wasn't surprised if Kieran didn't want to talk. He had been silent for some time now and doubted he would say much more until he was ready. Jakob continued to eat his chicken and rice while Kieran practically devoured everything else before him. In a way it was kind of amusing. But at the same time he knew it was merely because the poor man had been starving himself since finding out about Abel. He couldn't help staring towards him a bit in awe. He thought of perhaps warning him not to eat so fast, then again he had a feeling this wasn't a first for Kieran. When he spoke, at last the male glanced his way. Swallowing what was in his mouth, he smiled as Kieran held his egg roll out in offering. Leaning over, Jakob took a small bite. Sitting back, a mixture of flavors rolled over his tongue as he chewed. He let out a small noise of delight and nodded. "That's good." he said, still smiling. Jakob soon swallowed and picked up the rice container. "Want some of this?"

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Indeed he hadn't realized how fast and much he was eating. Kirean had been stressed which meant hunger took over. He knew from the looks Miguel thought he was overeating too fast. Kirean slowed down as he ordered Miguel some of his egg roll. He watched as Miguel leaned forward and took a bite. Kirean smiled as Miguel seemed to enjoy it. He watched as Miguel soon offered him some rice. Kirean took his fork as he scooped up some and took a bite. "Good." He replied as he took some more bites of his chicken.

Taking his offering, Jakob was delighted by the flavors of the egg roll. He continued to munch on it a little longer before returning to his own food. While Jakob ate, he soon turned to the male in another offering. He was sure in one of Kieran's boxes he had some white rice of his own, but he saw no reason not to offer him a bit of his own fried rice. He held the box out while Kieran scooped some out and commented softly. Smiling, Jakob returned to his food once more. He sat quietly on the bed while making his way through meal, pausing briefly to take sips of coke and watch the screen in front of him while he chewed.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Relaxing back against the headboard and pillows, Kirean munched on his chicken. He reached for his soda and cracked it open. Kirean took a sip from it and set it down on the table beside the bed. He returned to eating as they sat there watching television. His stomach was growing full after all he had eaten too fast and now had slowed down. Kirean glanced around the room to see a small fridge. He was glad after all there was too much food for them to eat right now.

Jakob continued to eat his food while the bed shifted some beside him. He didn't need to look back to know that Kieran had moved. It wouldn't be at all surprising if he was starting to feel the effects of eating too fast. Hopefully the man didn't accidentally make himself sick in the process. Though the same could be said for himself. Although he was managing to chew his food, he could feel himself growing full as well and he had only made a dent in each box. Scooping a bit of rice into the box with his chicken, he set the other with aside with Kieran's own boxes so that they might be put away. He ate all of three more pieces of chicken and the rice he took out, leaving about half of the box left. Sighing contently, he used his napkin to wipe his hands and mouth. When he was finished he crawled up the bed and snuggled up beside the male, laying his head in the crook of his arm.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kirean knew he shouldn't eat much more. He nibbled as he sat there, watching the television. Kirean watched from the side as Miguel shifted on the bed after a short while. He remained where he was as Miguel crawled up the side of the bed beside him. Kirean moved as he set his plate aside. He felt Miguel slide close to him and lie against him. Kirean knew they needed to clean up their meal. He however didn't want to move. Kirean moved his arm as he slipped it around Miguel, pulling him closer as he held onto him.

Jakob continued eating until he was full. When he was done he closed the box and crawled up to lay beside the male. He knew eventually they would need to put away the leftovers and clean up. But for the moment he wanted to just lay here with him. Jakob curled up beside Kieran and soon felt his arm wrap around his waist. He smiled as he was pulled closer. Lifting his head, he nuzzled Kieran’s neck and kissed the sensitive skin. He relaxed beside the male and turned his attention back towards the television even though he wasn’t really paying attention.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Pulling Miguel closer, he felt Miguel shift beside him. Kirean soon felt Miguel's lips against his neck before pulling away. He relaxed beside Miguel as he held onto him. Kieran wasn't focusing on the television too much either. He shifted glancing toward Miguel as he released him. "Let me put away the food real quick. " Kirean commented as he moved to grab his plate as he closed the box. He moved to stand as he grabbed the boxes and closed them. Kieran put them back in the bags as he took them to the fridge. He opened the fridge as he put the food inside. Kirean finished cleaning off the bed and returned to join Miguel back in it as he cuddled closer back to him.
