⋮ ۩ ) • • • In life they both had made mistakes, and it wasn't fair to dwindle it down to who had it worse. Kirean watched Miguel as he questioned him. He soon heard Miguel scoff as he watched him move to sit up and straddle his waist. Kirean moved his hands to Miguel's waist to steady him. He listened as Miguel spoke. "And you think I'm okay just letting you go off and sacrifice yourself?" Kirean questioned as he watched Miguel. He wasn't into the idea of separating from Miguel. Kieran didn't have relationships however with Miguel he wanted something between them. He wasn't running away and didn't see why Miguel would. However if he thought it was warranted so be it.

If they were playing a round of who had it worse, Kieran automatically won due to his unfair upbringing. Luckily that wasn't the point he was trying to make. Still, the more he tried to convince Kieran that this was something he needed to do on his own, the more the male seemed to think otherwise. Moving into his lap, he tried once more to make his stance on the matter only to have Kieran counter him. His cheeks burned as he shook his head. "No, but it's my mess, my problem." he replied. Leaning forward, he wrapped his arms around Kieran's neck and clung to him. "I love you so much...it's not fair of me to ask you to uproot everything." Burying his face into the males neck, he breathed in the familiar mix of cologne and Kieran's own natural musk. He didn't want them to break up. He would never ask him of that. He just needed a little time. Time to organize, to prepare for whatever may come. He would come back as soon as he was sure things were safe for them both.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Questioning Miguel, it seemed they were only going in circles. He held onto Miguel as shook his head. Kirean listened as Miguel spoke, seeming to want to take everything on, on his own. He watched as Miguel came closer as he laid against him. Kieran held onto him, he listened as Miguel spoke. He felt Miguel breathe him in. Kirean sighed as he sat there. "I love you too." He replied, giving up. Kieran didn't see the point in fighting after all he knew Miguel had made up his mind without him. "How long?" He asked, wanting to know how long he was going to have to put his life on the line and wait for him.

As much as it pained him to say so, he knew in his heart that he couldn't let Kieran get involved anymore than he already was. Although he knew the man could take care of himself, he wasn't so sure he could go against another hired professional like himself. Clinging to him, he heard Kieran sigh and repeat the words back to him. Hearing the utter defeat in his voice was heart wrenching, but it was for the best. Jakob continued to cling to him as they sat in momentary silence. It wasn't long before KIeran asked his final question. "I don't know." he replied honestly. "The last time I tried to outrun Cornelius it only lasted a couple of weeks. I imagine it'll be more or less the same as back then. But before I even think about getting close to him, I need to track down whomever it was he hired to attack Abel." Pulling back, Jakob stared up at the male a long moment. "I'm sorry." he said softly. Leaning forward, Jakob pressed a tender kiss to the males lips.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Kieran couldn't fight for Miguel even though he wanted to. He didn't have the patience to argue with him about how they needed to help each other. Kieran could take the hint that he wasn't needed. He could only guess Miguel didn't trust him enough to try. Kirean loved Miguel but he wasn't going to try anymore. He waited for Miguel to respond as he held onto him. Weeks. Kirean couldn't estimate how many. He didn't care anymore.

Holding onto Miguel, he soon felt him pull away. Kieran listened as Miguel apologized. However none of this was his fault, he was merely the chosen gun to kill Abel. Although Miguel didn't follow through with it. He felt Miguel's lips against his own. Kirean returned the kiss though he ignored the sadness welling up inside him, only the anger slipped through as he couldn't fight anymore.

It wasn't a matter of whether or not Kieran was needed. Nor did it have anything to do with trust. At the end of it all, Jakob believed himself to be the cause of this whole fiasco, thus making it his responsibility to find and kill the very cause of it. Jakob loved Kieran and he would be devastated if something were to happen to him. It was hard enough to see Abel lying in the hospital like that. He couldn't bear to see Kieran in a similar state. As he was questioned, Jakob could only provide a rough estimate. He knew it wasn't what the man wanted to hear, but he didn't want to lie to him.

Pulling back, Jakob found his expression to be unreadable. Though he was sure his own said everything he could possibly need to know. He doubted his apology was even needed but said it anyway. Afterwards, he leaned forward to kiss the male. He soon felt the kiss returned and moved to kiss him again. Although he had no idea when they might be parting, he wanted to savor every part of him. Jakob kissed him as though it were meant to be their last and shoved away his own welling sadness. The last thing he wanted was for Kieran to see him cry twice in one day.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • The flaw Miguel had was believing he needed to take care of the issue all on his own. Kirean thought they were a team by being in this relationship but he was wrong. He knew eventually Miguel would return however who was to say he'd be here waiting. Kirean was merely holding onto delusions that they could be in this relationship. He knew from the start it was a bad idea, agreeing to being with Abel's assassin. Kirean couldn't stand it anymore. He loved Miguel, but love only went so far.

Holding onto Miguel, Kieran kissed him. He was tired of talking as it was leading them nowhere. Kieran wanted one last time with Miguel before he left. He ran his hands against Miguel's back. Kirean kissed him deeply, drawing him in as they kissed. He nipped against Miguel's lower lip. Kieran ran his hands down grabbing Miguel's a**.

Flaw or now, Kieran wasn’t going to change his mind. He knew he was strong and could hold his own, but he was no killer. Jakob wouldn’t be able to do his job if he was constantly worrying about Kieran. He didn’t like the idea of Kieran moving on while he was away. But he couldn’t very well except him to wait for him either. Clinging to the male, Jakob continued to kiss him like it was his last. He felt Kieran return his kiss while his hands slipped down his back. He slipped closer, lightly pressing against him, his fingers gripping at the males shirt. As they kissed again, he felt a light n** to his lower lip. Jakob obediently parted his lips and moaned softly as his a** was groped.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Indeed Miguel couldn't make him wait. He knew that Miguel had made his decision, just as he had without voicing it. Kirean kissed Miguel, feeling him pull at his shirt. He held onto Miguel, as he felt him part his lips. Kirean slipped his tongue against Miguel's, tasting him and devouring him. He couldn't help but grab Miguel's a**. Kirean heard Miguel moan as they kissed. He pulled back from Miguel's lips, "How big is the shower?" Kirean asked not wanting to go for a traditional ******** in the bed.

While he couldn’t force Kieran to wait for him, he hoped that he would. Or at the very least not completely ignore upon his return. He supposed he only would find out when he came back. Not wanting to dwell on such things any longer, Jakob continued to kiss and touch the male as he pleased. In turn he felt Kieran’s hands sliding down his back and groping his a**. He couldn’t help the moan that escaped his lips. Jakob kissed him once more before Kieran pulled back. Blushing, he stared down at him. His blush only deepened as he was then questioned. ” I suppose it’s about average size…Though it might be a little snug for you.” he replied.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Touching Miguel, Kirean listened as he moaned. He couldn't help but question Miguel, as he held onto him. Kirean smirked, as Miguel pulled back to blush at his question. He wasn't bothered by the idea of it being cramped. Kirean hardly cared, "Well, then…Lead the way." He replied as he smacked Miguel's a** lightly before pulling away.

Sitting back, Jakob answered the males question. He hadn't really thought about the size of the shower. It seemed rather normal to someone his size. But he supposed with Kieran's bulk and height, it could be uncomfortable. His blush only deepened as Kieran smirked and smacked his a**. "Yes, daddy." he teased. Slipping out of Kieran's lap and on to the floor, Jakob padded across the room to the bathroom. He flipped on the lights and squeezed himself out of the way. Pulling himself up on the counter next to the sink, he glanced towards the male. "Well? This is it." he said with a wave of his hands.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Smacking Miguel's a**, Kirean listened as he spoke. He released him, watching as he slipped from his lap. Kirean kept his eyes on Miguel as he walked toward the bathroom. He waited until he flicked on the light before he moved. Kirean moved from the bed and crossed the bathroom to join Miguel. He took in the small bathroom with a one person glass stall shower, a toilet and counter which Miguel was perched on. Kirean glanced toward Miguel as he spoke. He nodded at his words, he moved toward the shower and pulled open the door. Kirean reached in and turned on the water. He adjusted the temperature before turning his attention to Miguel. Kirean moved to reach behind his back and pulled off his own shirt. He tossed it aside as he moved closer toward Miguel. Kirean reached out toward Miguel as leaned down to kiss Miguel while they waited for the water to heat up.

Moving across the room and into the small bathroom, Jakob pulled himself up on to the counter. A moment later Kieran followed in behind him and took in the small space. As he mentioned it wasn't big or glamorous, but at least everything was clean and worked properly. Jakob watched as Kieran walked towards the showered and reached in to turn on the water. A moment later he removed his shirt and stepped towards him. Jakob parted his legs as the male came closer to kiss him. His hands slipped over his waist as he kissed him back while they waited. Jakob kissed the male again, his hands blindly roaming over the expanse of his bare sides and abdomen.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Coming closer to Miguel, he slipped between his own legs. Kirean moved to slip his hands toward Miguel's waist. He kissed Miguel, feeling his hands slide over him. Kirean held onto Miguel as he felt Miguel's hands explore his abdomen and chest. He kissed Miguel, deeply nipping at his bottom lip. Kirean ran his hands toward the ends of Miguel's shirt. He slipped his fingers beneath his shirt. Kirean teased his hips with his fingers as they kissed.
