"No," echoed another voice, as Katalina surfaced, "Joshua is right. Don't do anything to her." She shrugged a little bit. "She'll wake up when she's ready."
She had heard the guilt in Joshua's voice when he spoke of the girl's descent into her own mind, and she had felt sorry for him. It was to reassure him that she'd come up in the first place, but now, seeing the others, she hesitated. Would he want something that personal, that private being brought up in front of the group?
Probably not. And his headache (with even the faintest beginnings of a connection, she could feel it) was too severe to risk any kind of mental comfort. She would talk to him later.
Instead, she simply confirmed his guess. "No, I couldn't. None of us can get past them right at the moment - Jinx and Nezik both gave it a shot, to see if they could find her. She's keeping everyone out while she cleans up."

Mac judged everyone's reaction to how he phrased his actions. He wasn't just going to do whatever Mike thought he was going to do. He waved to Katalina, and began walking towards a rock.
Mike saw Katalina and waved, "Hi pretty mermaid" he whispered from a distance. Mike went over and sat next to Aria and Joshua.
Upon reaching this rock, Mac sat and enjoyed the sea view. He positioned his leg placement like a mermaid and to his right side. He began humming a sweet melody that seemed to flow through the area with ease. He tended to do something, but sometimes it took something completely general to make anyone of those bad circumstances seem lessened. He wasn't focusing on Tianara, he was soothing everyone in the area, and creating serenity.
Mike looks at Mac and begins speaking, "You know, before I discovered myself, I thought it was both weird and beautiful how he could have such a melodic, siren-like voice. Others called him girly, but I think its unique" he stated to the others about his best friend. He began feeling even more refreshed.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Joshua glanced at Katalina as she surfaced, smiling faintly. He was glad to have her back him up. He didn't want to risk Tianara. He'd only delved to try and find her because it might have helped. But now with the barriers back up, pushing for her again might do more harm than good.
He nodded at her as she confirmed his guess. "I figured as much. I could feel the barriers going back up as I was withdrawing. They felt strong." He took the strength of the barrier as a good sign, as a sign of the stength of her mind. He sighed, massaging his head. The warmth of the sun was nice though, and the pounding had lessened slightly. He knew he would be fine in awhile. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((What? As far as Joshua is concerned, Tianara and all things pertaining to her are more important than whether or not Mac is girly. And Aria doesn't really have much to say.)) The tiger that should be....isn't....

((I just wanted to post that face to see who would react to it XD))
Mike walks up to Katalina, being friendly, "Hi, how are you? I'm Michael" he began to introduce himself kindly.
Mac finished singing and went back to Joshua, "So, I was wondering if you wanted to come with us later to see Allen in the hospital. I feel that he knows more about the seawitch from long ago that caused so much trouble" he explained, "the more we know, the better".

Katalina gave Mike the slightest of acknowledging nods, then frowned mildly at Joshua's words. "Just as you were coming back out?" she wondered. "She must have felt you in there. I wonder why she didn't react." There was no fear in her words, only curiosity. She had seen Tianara cleaning up, too. She knew the girl was alive, and working her way back.
And though the barrier strength was a good thing, it also meant that it would take Tianara longer to bring them down again.
She tilted her head after a bit, realizing that Joshua still looked tired. "Still hurt?" she asked gently. He'd overdone it, she thought. Pushed too hard while looking for Tianara. She probably should have kept an eye on him. Well, he would recover, and in the meantime, she would make sure Tianara didn't lose ground.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aria glanced up at Mac and nodded. "I'll come." She said without even really considering it. Not surprising really - Allen was her only family after all.
Joshua shrugged. "I don't know. I think she was buried too deep in her own mind." He said in response to her curious words.
At her question though, he smiled slightly and shrugged. "A littlebit." He said, playing it off. "I'll be fine. It's nothing to worry about." He didn't want to have the others worrying about him. A little headache was nothing and it wouldn't stop him from doing what he had to.
He glanced up at Mac and his offer, then shook his head. He winced slightly, realizing that was a bad idea. "No thanks. I'm going to stay and watch over Tianara. Let me know what you do find out, will you?" Joshua was reluctant to wander too far from the girl's side right now. Her body lie unprotected while she sorted out her mind. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Mac listened, but then quickly remembered something. He ran over to Mike, who was standing next to the shore. "Hey, Can you add your shield around this place? I already have mine up" he asked.
Mike was happy to do it, "Sure" he replied. He closed his eyes, and appeared to be holding invisible energy between his hands in front of him. The energy turned green and sparkly, but still ethereal. He then released it and spread his arm out and it surrounded the area and incorporated itself with Mac's.
"Finally, Dark One's can't get here either anymore" Mac said to Mike.

((OOC: *twitch* EG. Incorporeal beings. Shields do not keep out incorporeal beings, unless they are also keeping out things like air, and the merfolk magic, and other such things.))
Katalina nodded a bit, then tilted her head and listened. "It'll change soon enough," she murmured. "Nezik tells me that he can feel the barriers weakening again - he's just keeping an eye on her. She must be almost done cleaning, if she's ready to start bringing down the barriers. If all goes well, she might be home tonight."
She pushed herself back, farther into the water. "In the meantime, I'm going to find dinner - I think I forgot to eat today. Things were hectic." She flashed Joshua a smile. "If she wakes up before I get back, let me know." With an easy nod to the rest of the group, she flicked her tail and vanished beneath the waves.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Joshua looked curious as Katalina listened. He could tell someone else was talking to her. His eyes brightened at the news she gave him. "That's great!" He said, smiling. He chuckled as she pushed herself back into the water. "Alright. Good hunting." He told her just before she disappeared into the waves. The tiger that should be....isn't....

((OOC: Yes, that one. I just need to think up a good premise. And how to explain them in such a way that I won't get people constantly misinterpreting what they are and what they do. It might take a while - it's been kind of on the back burner since I thought of it. Things have been...busy.))

The Dark Ones are like a jedi mind trick, but to turn you to the dark side! .....Sorry for the geekyness. Had to do it. XD )) The tiger that should be....isn't....
