((@SSD: well back at Aria's house they couldn't get through. I previously stated that Mac and Mike have special powers that when combined shields form, no negative entities can venture into it period. Work around it, if you try to be more strategic and actually try to make sure the good guys would do what you would do, that makes it even better for the bad guy to screw them over. Nira has yet to show her badassery >:3))

((OOC: Yeah. I might just alter them a little, work it around until it's easy to explain. Or else devote an entire post to what they are - and still be prepared to answer questions. >.<))

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((@EG - Why mess up what she's got going? The Dark Ones play quite a bit into the story line. If they can't get to the others, then there goes a whole chunk of plotline to be able to us.
@Shadow - Yeah. However you explain it, you're going to get questions so be prepared.)) The tiger that should be....isn't....

((OOC: @Lucky: You're right. Want to play co-creator with me? heart Totally missed EG's post. Will reply now. When was it stated that they couldn't get through at Aria's house? I admit I've mostly been skimming that part of things, otherwise I'd have called you on it sooner. Also, I want to know where these special powers are coming from. If thousands of generations of merfolk haven't been able to stop these creatures, why can two supposedly human boys do it? Why is it that nothing seems to faze these boys, and they have all the right tools and powers for everything? Frankly, when it's made that easy for the good guys to avoid bad s**t, it gets boring. If you have a plan, please start connecting the dots soon, as elsewise this makes no fricking sense. And if you need to reply, we should take this to PMs to stop cluttering the RP. Thanks. smile ))

((Remember how Mackenzie is the embodiment of Water itself? Well thats like uber magickal. Plus Mac and Mike have a backstory I'm sure you'd love to hear, and they are definitely not normal humans. Mike is basically Earth *shh*. Don't worry, REAL people play it safe, and REAL bad guys find ways around obstacles, so don't dumb down characters, bad guys can be the same way. Its just these 2 places that are base, and don't worry, its not like they're going to stay there for long. I never said anything about an almost natural disaster approaching. I will explain as we go along))

Twittling a small bottle in her hands, she watched the party of three make their way into Joshua's cove, and then vanish. She gave a slight frown at that, "It seems as though they have a block on me...hmph". She looked at the bottle, and spoke yet again to herself, "I think they're far enough away from home to be considered safe now. Lets see how they like a hurricane" she smiled. She opened the bottle and emptied its contents into the viewer, and threw it to the ground when it was spent.
A big smile appeared upon her face as she view the distant ocean horizon become full of dark and churning clouds.

Mac noticed the sudden clouds in the distance, and wondered. "Hmm, I wasn't that happy or wounded was I? That looks like a storm, and a big one" he said as it drew nearer. He walked up to Aria, "We might want to leave now, I don't know how much longer we have, maybe an hour at most, and ocean storms are the worst"
Mike was listening the whole time, "You'd stay in it if it was rainy" he interjected, "But we do have Aria with us, and I don't like being cold" he said, "we'd better hurry up and make it to the hospital".

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aria looked up at the cloud, following Mac's gaze. She pushed herself to her feet, dusting sand off her clothes. "Alright. Let's get going then. We can whether out the storm at the hospital. I'm not taking Grandpa out in a storm like that." Living by the ocean her entire life, Aria knew the dangers of ocean storms. She knew how to judge a storm by the color of it's clouds. Watching them for a moment, she frowned suddenly. "The sky wasn't red this morning......" She said vaguely, narrowing her eyes at the storm. Mac looked back at the others, "Stay safe ok?" he said as he took out a potion, and tossed it to Joshua, "its for healing, in case you need it" he said as he rejoined Mike and Aria's side.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aria led them up the path quickly, not wanting to be caught out in the storm. She trotted along the path, knowing it's every twist by heart. Several times she moved off the path, cutting through the woods. She was moving as the crow flies rather than following the winding path. It wasn't long at all before they were in town and heading to the hospital.

((OOC: Oh, ffs, EG. First off, we're taking it to PMs from here, because I'm tired of this crap cluttering the RP. Real people play it safe, yes, but real people also don't have the skills, magical or otherwise, to solve every single problem that ever comes their way, like your characters do. Let me explain myself clearly: When I said it was okay that your character be the embodiment of Water, I didn't mean that it was also okay for him to be God. I really need to see some weaknesses in these characters soon, okay? So far I haven't seen one. Also, if you could kindly stop insinuating that I'm an idiot for not being able to read your mind and know everything you intend to do, that would be nice. stare Now, doing an actual post rather than being irritated.))
Katalina turned her dark gaze to the coming storm and frowned. "That looks ugly," she murmured, staring into the dark, roiling clouds. "And it doesn't feel right. Joshua, I'm off to round up Nezik and Jinx. We're going to find somewhere to shelter until it passes. Storms this severe usually go quickly."
She offered him a smile. "Let me know when Tianara wakes up. I'll be keeping the channels open for you."
That said, she dived again, and disappeared. She was in a hurry - the storm was moving fast.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Joshua looked up, startled by Katalina's comment. His amber gaze quickly found the coming storm. "Alright." He murmured to Katalina. "Stay safe." He watched her disappear into the waters again. He hoped they would find some place safe. Some place deep. The deeper waters weren't as bad as the surface in most storms. But the worst of the storms would affect the deeps, he knew.
Rising to his feet, he could feel the wind picking up already, beginning to whistle through the trees. He made his way over to where he sheltered his gear. He worked steadily, securing it down as best he could. When he was satisfied there, he moved onto his cabin, closing the outside storm shutters on the windows. Inside, he closed and secured all the windows and the door, baring them against the coming storm. He'd lived around water his entire life and knew how destructive it could be. When he was absolutely sure there was nothing else he could do, he crawled onto the bed, beside Tianara. Joshua sat with his back against the wall, watching the girl and listening to the wind. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Katalina's warmth quickly brushed his mind, a kind of gentle farewell and 'don't worry, we'll be fine' all mixed into one. Then she blocked off the contact, so she could focus on getting Jinx and Nezik safely to somewhere where they could ride out the storm.
Tianara remained precisely the same as before, not having moved a muscle. Perhaps her eyes seemed a little brighter, a little more aware, but that was about it. All the same, her breathing had begun to quicken, and it seemed that even in her hidden mind, the girl could sense the coming storm.
Even considering that last night had been from hell, tonight seemed to promise worse yet to come.
