"They do, but this one hasn't been." Clorogne looked to the ground, "But the amount of blood needed to be spilt...." he led off.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera raised an eyebrow. "That much blood?" She asked, giving a low whistle. "And here I thought it was just a drop or two. p***k the finger and be done with it." She hadn't realized just how much blood was needed for the stone. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"It's a last resort." Clorogne repeated. "The jewel absorbs the blood."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Huh. Yeah, in that case, let's save it. I'm sure we can find another way." Aleera said with a shrug. She tossed her hair over her shoulder. "What do you plan to do for now though? Let the rumor work - Cause you know it's spreading around already - or go out and try to set things straight right away?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I'm going to let the rumor work. Wait until they ask ME." Clorogne shrugged , "Right now, the slave is listening to it spread, anyway."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Alright then." Aleera said simply, shrugging. She cocked her head to the side. "What do you plan to do in the mean time then, as it spreads? Because even the fastest rumors take some time to spread." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Clorogne gave a cocky smirk, "Until then, we're on vacation. Enjoy yourself." He laughed, and laid back on his bed.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera raised an eyebrow. "Vacation? I almost don't know what to do with my time." She said with a laugh. "I can't remember the last time I've actually just had time off." She'd been working pretty much solidly since coming to the castle. She never complained though, as her "work" as an adviser wasn't exactly hard and she often had a few hours a day to herself. But an actual vacation? No. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Clorogne laughed, "But realise...we may have to go out and socialise...make sure the people notice us, and have good opinions."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera chuckled quietly. "I can do that. Most of the people like me anyways. Well, like or fear. I'll take either." She said a shrug, standing up straight. She stretched lightly. "I'll walk through the market then. So I'll see you later." She gave a small wave then turned to leave. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Clorogne tossed her a small bag of coins, "Feel free to get some food while you're out."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera caught the bag easily. "Thank you." She said, flashing him a smile. She tucked the bag into her hip pouch and left the inn, wandering through the market. She paused occasionally, stopped by people who wanted to know the truth. She told them that yes the king was dead, no there wouldn't be a civil war, and yes she'd brought back the king's brother. When she got hungry, she bought a couple pieces of fruit, munching on those as she answered questions. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Clorogne rested in bed, twiddling red stone between his fingers. It wasn't large per-say...just a little smaller than his fist.
Akila spoe to no one, finishing her ginger-ale, and wandered out into the market area. It was so nice...the fresh air...no leash...she wanted to run away, but she had no where to go but the cozy looking room in the Inn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera wandered around for awhile. Spotting Akila, she trotted over with a smile. "Hey. Enjoying your time outside?" She asked easily. With Clorogne not looking over their shoulder like always, the seer could actually be polite for once. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila looked up at the Seer and smiled, "Oh yes...I didn't realise how badly I missed the little things." She she looked over the marketplace and smiled warmly to herself. It seemed so long...she reached up to touch the collar around her neck, which currently lacked it's leash.
