Jane smiled as Heather began to speak. This was it and she was ready. She planned on still trying for Chaser but knew it was a small hope and would be just fine with being a Beater again. She was really beginning to get fond of hitting that bludger. With a smile she pushed off the ground and shot into the air.

What's up with this Prince song inside my head?

Cuz it's always a good time.   ♥Single | Status: ☺ | ♫ Musically Inclined | ♀♂ Unknown Origins | LionelTobi climbed onto his broom ready with excitement and a touch of nervousness running through his veins. He flew up into the air and for a second just enjoyed the fact that he could fly before looking back down at Heather. The moment she started the game and threw up the quaffle the first year was on it, catching it and heading towards the goal posts.

She had never known that Jane wanted to be a Chaser. Every year, she was a Beater, so Heather just assumed that that was the position the older girl had always wanted. Dhylan showed up not long after that, emphasizing her new position on the team. "I'm still the same 'ole Heather, ya know. Being Captain now doesn't change much. Just a fancy title. Anyways, I want you in the air, Dhyl. I've got an idea." With that said, she swung her leg over her broom and flew upwards, circling around and stopping in the center of the pitch. "I've got an idea. Let's have a little mini game, shall we? William and Tobi versus Jane and Dhylan. Try to get the quaffle from the other team and pass to your partner. When you get to the goals, well, you know what to do from there. After that, Dhyl, Jane, and Tobi can join me on some Beater exercises. Got it? Good." Hovering just below the ground, Heather pulled her wand from her back pocket and recited an old incantation from her first year of Charms class. "Wingardium Leviosa." Multiple small target-things floated upwards, and she positioned them around the half of the pitch that she would use for Beater try-outs. After all, what's a Beater without something to hit? Flying back up, she called out "Good luck!" before flying straight at one of the bludgers. Raising her bat, she took a swing at it... (Just thought about this now... Here's what you need to know about Beater try-outs: roll a 3 or lower = hit yourself and lose a life total roll is 9 or lower = miss the target total roll is 10 or higher = hit the target the targets have an AC of 10) Position: Beater

Although hearing about beater exercises were a slight surprise, yeah he wanted to try it out ever since hearing about it but he had assumed there had been enough of those and not enough chasers. Looks like his luck was on a rolling streak again! When she started the game he saw that the two on the "opposing" team were closer to him but not to his teammate and immediately threw the quaffle to Will and began zooming around them.

Quidditch is my life, but my knowledge is who I am. William Cloud Fifth Year♽Hufflepuff♽Chaser ⇳ ⇴ ⇵ ⇶ ⇷ ⇸ ⇹ ⇺ ⇻ ⇼ ⇽ ⇾ ⇿ Will carefully caught the Quaffle in his right hand and seated it back into his body to keep a hold. He then waited and drew the defenders back to him. When he drew defenders, Tobi had been open almost all the way across the field. Will beamed a low, driven pass to Tobi, making sure that even though the distance was great, he got it to him. He was surprised he made the pass to be honest.
"Wasn't expecting that to work at all," he said jokingly as Jane flew close, probably originally trying to steal the Quaffle ⇳ ⇴ ⇵ ⇶ ⇷ ⇸ ⇹ ⇺ ⇻ ⇼ ⇽ ⇾ ⇿ Some are born great, some achieve great, but some...have greatness thrust upon them.

Hufflepuff|4th year|Muggle-Born|Single Why must I be judged upon the purity of my blood? Steele flew up to the posts, looking around for quite a bit and taking in what the sky had to show him...nothing. He awaited a shot on goal.. He was ready this year. He was not going to be horrible again this year. He couldn't be. That was not an option.
"I really hope we are playing half court Quidditch because there isn't another keeper," he said aloud, no one probably hearing him, but if they do, they would voice their opinion. Will I ever be the same?

He chuckled at his expression on the older Hufflepuff's face, that pass was apparently a surprise success. He heard Steele from over at the goal posts and smirked deciding that since he was there they might as well, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to make it all the way there with the other two tailing him on much faster brooms. So when he had made it halfway dodging the others he launched the quaffle pack to Will as soon as he was close enough hoping the others wouldn't intercept.

Even after the summer, she still had her skills. It made her glad, a feeling that didn't come around quite as often anymore. Hovering in place, she took time to watch the others and their little game. Tobi and Will were, surprisingly, a good team. The young first year showed promise as a Chaser. Would he do the same as a Beater? Speaking of which, back to her own game. The targets were scattered around the half of the pitch she was using for the Beater try-outs. They floated in place, making them easy targets for her. As a Bludger came her way, she took aim and swung at it, hoping to hear the familiar sound of ball against bat... Here's what you need to know about Beater try-outs:
roll a 3 or lower = hit yourself and lose a life
total roll is 9 or lower = miss the target
total roll is 10 or higher = hit the target

He then instructed Tobi to head up the wing. Will would create seperation by leading Tobi. He actually learned this tactic from American football. The Quarterback would throw something called a fade route and it would naturally create seperation. So he threw the ball up leading Tobi into open space. It was a perfect pass and it took quite the ability to do. ⇳ ⇴ ⇵ ⇶ ⇷ ⇸ ⇹ ⇺ ⇻ ⇼ ⇽ ⇾ ⇿ Some are born great, some achieve great, but some...have greatness thrust upon them.

He didn't really get why he was doing so until he watched his teammate throw the ball towards him and the open space and caught it rather surprisingly in his hand. With a smile he flew his way over towards the goals and threw as hard as he could.
