Well... it's not a *great* movie, but it's a fun movie. I personally like quirky movies, so... your mileage may vary. It does have some lovely moments, though... and the quote I mentioned earlier, "Your life is an event. Live up to it."

There's also a very nice bit with his shoes... but I don't want to spoil it. smile

Maybe I'll mention it to my brother. If he gets it through NetFlix I'll watch it, but it doesn't sound like something worth pursuing...

Anyway, I've discovered something most disturbing: This printing of Othello has the stage direction "he dies", but this one does not! Instead, it has "faints"!

The preceding line is different too! (II, ii, 188; page 137 in the first link)

This new discovery has shaken me. Shaken me right down to my very core.

Yeah, different versions always bug me a bit; that's one thing that annoys me about Bible translations, especially the King James version. They were, ah, a bit less than faithful with their source material whilst translating, according to a lot of Biblical scholars... confused

Hm... I need to remember which box my annotated Complete Works of Shakespeare in 3 volumes is in... It's a terrific set I got at Costco years ago, with the Tragedies in one volume, the Comedies in another, and the Histories and Sonnets in a third. (Capitalization for emphasis only.) ^_^
