'Do you ever think about anything besides assorted illegal methods of obtaining wealth?' Guile asked.

"Of course I do! Books and sleep are an important part of my life as well!" Larai said with much confidence, completely missing the point.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

'...And just what sort of books do you read...?' Guile asked, having a sneaking suspicion he knew the answer.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"The theorum of how magic works and exists, manuals on mechanics and lock-pickery, fantasy tales of times long passed, historical texts, and a million and three ways to make money quick for troubled teenage women." Larai replied shamelessly, a small smile lighting up her lips.

'Close enough.' Guile said.

((Block starting to kick in, should we have our new parents wake up soonish? >.>'' ))

Van yawned as he eventually woke up some time later, a tired smile on his face as he woke up, still cuddled up with Mala and their baby.

Mala was lightly asleep, likely to wake up soon. Anise, however, was wide awake. The baby couldn't see Van, considering how difficult it is for babies to see clearly so soon after birth, so currently she was gazing at her hands - gripping and ungripping them. For some reason, that left her giggling.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Van smiled lightly as he watched Anise giggle. "Good morning Anise." he said softly. He would have taken her into his own arms, but he didn't want to give Mala a panic attack by not waking up with the baby in her arms.

Anise continued playing with her hands for a few moments longer. She stopped, of course, moments before Mala woke up.

Mala looked about the room, smiling broadly when she noticed Anise in her arms and that Van was still by her side. "Good morning." she murmured softly.

"Good morning to you too." Van said giving Mala a kiss on the cheek.

"I hope you slept well, Van..." Mala muttured with a smile, looking to still be a little sleepy.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Van nodded. "Just when I was starting to get used to the middle of the night kicking, too. I might actually miss feeling those tiny signs of life."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Well, at least you can cuddle with the little kicker any time you want now." Mala said, lifting Anise up a little and smiling at the baby.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"You know what I mean." Van said, tickling the tiny feet a bit.
