On a side note, Pizza Hut's cheese-stuffed crust: do you think this was devised by Wisconsinites wanting a little more dairy in their diet? Can't you just hear 'em? ("visualize" an upper-Midwest accent)
"This pizza's pretty good, Ma,"
"Fer sure, Pa, but it's missing a little something, y'know?"
"Well, it could stand a little more cheese..."
"More cheese? Hmmm... you're right, Pa, but we already ordered it with extra cheese. Where would they put it?"
"Well, I don't rightly know, Ma... Maybe if they put some in the crust part around the edge. It's always pretty dry anyway..."
"Pa, that's a pretty OK idea. I think I'll call the store tomorrow and suggest that."
And thus was born the stuffed-crust pizza.
(I've been to Wisconsin. They're powerfully fond of their dairy. Ever had a Butterburger? 1/2 pound hamburger with cheese... and topped with a big ol' slab of butter. Very tasty... but I could just about feel the incipient heart attack...) wink
