Anise giggled all the more, reaching over for Van's hands now. She really seemed to love grabbing things.

"Looks like Anise is a little giggler too!" Mala said affectionately.

"And a little grabber." Van said with a chuckle, moving his hand to let Anise grab away at him.

Anise giggled in delight as she grabbed onto her daddy's hand once more.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Wait, we can make this easier for the both of us." Van managed to let Anise continue holding onto his hand as he readjusted himself to sit up before carefully taking Anise into his own arms, having let Mala hold her all this time.

After Van took Anise, Mala allowed her arms to go down and finally rest. She let a slightly larger smile take hold of her lips. "Thanks for taking her. My arms are a little achy..."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"You should have said something sooner, I'll gladly take her off your hands for a while." Van said with a smile, wiggling a finger or two for Anise.

Anise giggled and played with Van's hand while Mala rested her head against Van's shoulder and closed her eyes. "She really loves her daddy." she commented softly, having previously seen how much Anise seemed to love playing with his hand already.

"She also loves her mommy, right Anise? You love your mommy too, don't you?" Van said, going into baby speak territory as he held Anise up slightly to have her looking at Mala.

Mala giggled at this, her eyes now open. Just looking at that baby face and hearing Van's baby talk made her feel all fuzzy inside. She promptly hugged them both. "Aaaaaaaw! So adoooooowable!" she cooed in delight.

"Babies tend be that way." Van said with a chuckle. "And the parents of said baby in extension."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I know, and I love it~" Mala replied in agreement.

"Wanna go meet your big brother and sister now Anise?" Van said, looking down at Anise as he bounced her in his arms slightly, now that everyone seemed to be well-rested now.

 

[M3Gnificent]

{Yes, exactly.}

"Let's go meet bubby and sissy, okay?" Mala cooed, also wanting to go show off the baby already. She felt so prideful that even after a thousand years, she could still make such an adorable wonder.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Kai'd fume if he knew you called him 'bubby'." Van said with a chuckle as he swung his legs around to get out of bed, grabbing a small blanket to wrap the baby in.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Well tough cookies, he can deal with it." Mala replied with a soft chuckle as she too slipped out of bed. First and foremost, she changed into some fresher clothes for obvious reasons.
