I'm still waiting for it to actually WORK

Download the game
start the game
after the guard thing comes up it closes the game
download the patch
extract the files from the patch
Ctrl+C (copy) all the files
Paste them here: c:/program files/galanet/flyff (or wherever you saved the game files)
then
DON'T start the game usuing the shortvut you used before...
Start the game using the "Run game without patcher" shortcut thats there
If you want copy and paste it onto your desktop for easy ascess
Then you are DONE
