Yup yup, i totally feel you girl.
I have lost most of my friends also.
But it's for the best, because the crowd that i rolled with before were ravers, druggies and clubbers.
So.. yeah i'm glad to be rid of that scene.
The friends i have left i value also, because they accept me for who i am.
The fact that they know that i have major responsibilities and a different life now.
The life being my kiddies. They know and understand that i need to prioritize and put my kiddies first.
Yet they are still there, in my life and has not left like the others.
Sometimes though it gets hard and it does feel like being online is the only window or contact we have with the outside world..
As we don't get to get out much. And all our time is consumed by our kids.
I felt like that at some stages.. but now my life is beginning to balance itself out.
There are still the odd issues here and there but that is inevitable..

That's why I lost most of my friends the druggies and them not having to "grow up" and act like a responsible adult. My neighbors are awesome they have two kids close in age to mine and her husband is the same age as my husband, she is a year older than me. So we do alot of things together. I'm a recovering addict so I can't go out and do what alot of people do whether it be going to bars or what not, I've been clean for 2 years so I'm limited in who and what I can do. That and the kids keep me completely occupied.


Whooo that was long and alot of information to give out. I hope you don't think less of me because I used to use drugs redface

Ums.. no Serenity, i don't. I'm not perfect myself either.
Although i never shot up and such, i still smoked Ice..
Choofed ganja, popped E's, dexies, valium, and all that confused
Not to mention i drank myself stupid allot also..
Yeah it was my kids that stopped me from doing all that too.
As soon as i found out that i was pregnant with my first [my baby girl] i stopped everything cold turkey.
I never knew how i was going to quit drugs.. my baby girl was my solution.
I never saw it coming.. smile
I don't touch 1 drop of alcohol anymore.
[although i wish i could, i like an occasional drink but i just can't stomach the taste anymore]
The only bad thing i still do is.. smoke XD
That habit.. i cannot drop stare
I would probably go insane domokun

I know i know.. smokes are nothing but a cancer stick..
I don't know if you've ever smoked.. but it really does de-stress you when you are.. STRESSING stare
I don't know.. that's the addictive thing about smokes.
You get this high.. and makes your stress level decrease..

I'll feel unclean If I try...
I just don't want to lose 7 minutes of my life for a stick of cig...
I think that's what nicotine has to offer, addiction...

I knoww.. my parents used to give me tihs allot to quit smoking..
Now my dad bums smokes off me from time to time LOL
He doesn't nag me to quit no more.
I have cut down ALOT though.
I used to smoke over 1/2 a pack of Marlboro Reds 25s a day..
Now only like.. 5.. max is 10 smokes on a reaaaaaaaaly stressful day stressed
